  My husband and daughter were at the shop last night and came home raving about Griffin. While they loved the selection of glasses, the reason they made their purchase was because of Griffin’s salesmanship and personality. He was calm, patient, and informative, and he made the experience of picking out glasses feel like you were spending time with an old friend. My family said that he made the decision to buy at Sunglass Hut easy and enjoyable. The 5 STAR rating is entirely a shout out to Griffin-not often we encounter such great customer service and friendliness, and he was a pro at it!!!!

  Juan has helped me in the past and when I say he goes above and beyond, I really mean it. I was having my sunglasses checked that I had purchased last year. While he was cleaning and adjusting my sunglasses, I found a pair of oakleys that I had previously owned for a very long time. It just so happened that pair was a gift from my father who passed away in August of 2025. My car unfortunately was stolen in November of 2025 and they took those sunglasses with them. Even though my wallet was stolen, knowing my old oakleys from my father were now gone too was so much worse. Juan was empathetic to my recent losses and the significance behind a pair of sunglasses. He gave me his personal employee discount voucher so I was able to purchase the oakleys my dad had once gifted me all those years ago. I asked Juan what I could do to repay his kindness. He shrugged and said I could leave a review. I hope this review finds its way up the grapevine so Juan can get the recognition he deserves.

  I had a very disappointing experience with this place. The staff was extremely unprofessional and disorganized, and it felt like they didn’t respect customers’ time or concerns. Communication was poor, and simple issues were handled in a careless way. Instead of feeling welcomed or helped, I felt ignored and frustrated.

  I had an amazing experience at Sunglass Hut and felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I walked in. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional without being pushy. A young gentleman who honestly looked like a model helped me right away. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to understand what I was looking for. I was given proper assistance with trying on different styles, received helpful recommendations, and never once felt ignored or uncomfortable. The difference in customer service compared to other eyewear stores ( RAY BAN, upstairs the chinook mall specifically) was night and day. This is how retail should be done. Sunglass Hut made me feel valued as a customer, and because of that, I would absolutely return and recommend this location to others. Thank you again to Ian! Great customer service
