Sporting Life is always a nice place to shop, but this visit really stood out. I was buying winter boots for my toddler and a sales associate named Sila helped me — she truly went above and beyond. She showed me several options and walked me through the details that actually matter: how light they are for little feet, how easy they are to put on, how practical they’ll be for everyday use, and even how the colors will handle slush and dirt. Thanks to her, I felt genuinely confident about the pair I chose. Fantastic service.

Snobby attitudes here. It was my first time at Sporting Life. Didn’t even know what they were about. Staff gave you Designer store attitudes. It was really laughable considering they’re high schoolers or college students making minimum wage and they scoff at customers. Since this company and golf town are owned by the same organization, it probably is the culture they teach their employees: be elitist. I recommend these folks change their store names to Rolex or Prada or Canada Goose. It would justify their attitudes better. That being said, the store has a nice layout. I found golf balls that were 60% OFF regular price. I bought 14 dozen. Lol If you go here, make sure you’re white and well dressed so that your fellow white customer associated may be better suited to help you. Maybe also wear a Rolex or something expensive.

This is a review for Sporting life Visited Nov 5th 2025 Approx 1830 Hrs. Having been in the Security and investigations industry for over Thirty years and having made over 300 LP arrests, There is a fine line and balance between actively detering theft internally and being overwhelmingly so far from knowing who and what those threats are and is, to the point where you openly engage in hostile radio procedures in front of the customers to make it sound like you know what you are doing is grossly overbearing and delusional. Walking up to someone when they enter the store and miss identifying that person will give you overreach on your duties methodically and ethically. Actively clocking the customer and looking them in the eye then saying on your radio in front of that person "yeah I got him" then proceeding to follow that person around the store in the hope you might make them feel uncomfortable enough to leave so you and your lack of training dont have to engage verbally or physically is laughable. Maybe work on your body language and identifiers before guessing. Im sure SL wouldn't want the musclebound short LP in tactical gear to be a customer service issue? Maybe seek some coaching from John if his still the LP head of SL. not a good look. Bad customer relations.

ZERO STARS - Experience of Racial Profiling and Hostile Environment I visited Sporting Life (Market Mall) on Wednesday at approximately 7:30 PM with the intention of making a high-value purchase (a jacket worth ~$470.00). Instead of a positive shopping experience, I was subjected to blatant racial profiling and harassment by the security staff. I was the only Black person in the area, and a White security guard (approx. 5'8"-5'10", medium build, forearm tattoos) monitored and tracked my movements excessively and inappropriately throughout my entire time in the store. His surveillance was hostile, unwarranted, and made me deeply uncomfortable. When I raised this serious issue—stating clearly that I felt he exhibited a disgusting bias towards people of color—the on-duty supervisor attempted to justify his actions by claiming he had to watch the whole store. This response was unacceptable. The security guard’s racially biased behavior created such a hostile environment that I walked out without purchasing the item, resulting in the store losing a $470.00 sale. Sporing Life management needs to immediately investigate this incident and implement mandatory, thorough anti-bias training for their security team. Customers deserve to feel welcome, not targeted, based on the color of their skin. This is a massive failure of service and ethics. Like in all honesty, it's crazy to me that even if you look a certain way, people are going to have a bias towards you. And I was just in the store on Sunday. November 2, 2025 , we're having a great time with one of the young staff members named Nicholas. He helped my partner and I out, while we were trying to figure out what type of shoes we wanted. It's only closed-minded individuals, like the security guard make people not want to return to a store. Truly uncalled for and just as disgusting type of behavior. You never know who you're walking into, or walking by, so don't cast a stone at a Glass House

My dad and I visited the store today to purchase a full set of brand-new ski equipment, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Jerez and Quinn were phenomenal knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping us find the perfect gear. They took the time to understand our needs and made sure every piece of equipment was a perfect fit. We were very happy and the people at the till were awesome. The store manager was also super helpful. A good 3 hour Trip!!
