I am writing this because I am beyond appalled by the repeated mistreatment, dishonesty, and sometime toxic atmosphere at the Lululemon Chinook Mall location. For a brand that markets itself on "mindfulness" and "connection," the reality of this store is a staggering display of ego, incompetence, and blatant disrespect toward customers. I am also shocked to see many poor experiences shared by others, and the management team has done absolutely nothing about it. 1. Dishonesty I am still in shock over a specific encounter regarding a jacket I wanted to purchase. After being told I had to wait for a piece sitting at the back counter to be processed, I followed instructions and returned 30+ minutes later - only to find it gone. When I approached the same staff member, he lied directly to my face, claiming they didn't have the item in stock. This isn't just a mistake; it is a calculated lie. Why is a "premium" brand employing people who play games with inventory and treat customers like they don't belong? 2. Chaotic Incompetence and Policy Confusion The lack of basic training at this location is embarrassing. I have been given different versions of store policy by different staff members. To make matters worse, when you point out the inconsistency, the staff becomes visibly annoyed with the customer for their own internal lack of communication. 3. Hostility, Ego, and Double Standard There is a palpable "mean girl" energy in this store. Some staffs carry an unearned ego that makes the shopping experience feel like a confrontation. If I spoke to a staff member with half the attitude, condescension, and dishonesty they showed me, I would likely be escorted out of the mall. Yet, Lululemon management seems perfectly content to let their "educators" treat paying customers with total condescension. The reviews for this location clearly show I am not alone, yet management has done absolutely nothing to course-correct. I am disgusted by the lack of respect shown to me and to other customers.

Terrible customer service. I went to this store to pick up a bag I had ordered online. The first bag I received was scratched, so I asked for a replacement. The staff handed me another bag and told me to ask the cashier to process the exchange. The cashier couldn’t do it and asked a coworker (a young male employee) for help. He told me I had to come back after 24 hours instead of fixing the issue on the spot. This made no sense. The defective item had literally just been given to me at the counter. In snowy weather, they expected me to leave and return the next day for a mistake that was not mine. Only after I insisted did they finally scan my ID and complete the exchange. Instead of apologizing for selling a damaged product, they made the process difficult and frustrating. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I will not be back

Went in to this location today, it was very busy and I get that with being the Holliday season. However I didn’t want to purchase anything just wanted to exchange a pair of leggings I got earlier in the year that came undone at the seems. Absolutely a manufacturing error. Already annoyed considering they were $144 when I bought them not even a year ago, however mistakes happen so I just wanted to exchange them. The girl at the counter was extremely cold, rude and judgy. I brought the leggings in freshly washed and unworn, however I have cats so there was a couple hairs here and there after sitting by the door. She’s handling the leggings as if they’re contaminated, after I say they were just washed after seeing her visibly annoyed, she’s just scoffs at me. She then proceeds to say she needs to ask if they can even exchange them, the man next to her immediately says of course they can. She then sends someone to go get a new pair, rings it in and the when I comment on a $10 price difference within 6 months (trying to lighten the mood a bit) she scoffs again and says “uh yeah our prices went up by $10-20 so you can pay that now”. I tap my card a little baffled by her behaviour and she proceeds to bag the new leggings and FLICK them across the checkout counter at me. At this point I was just over it and walked out. EXTREMELY unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience. As someone who loves Lulus and has many pairs, I will not be going back simply do to the sheer lack of customer service and condescending behaviour. 0/5 stars.
