I love the store I drive 4 hours just to go by my fishing gear. But the guys at the desk by the fishing rods really need a talking to. I stood there for 10 minutes at the till with 2 of them standing there talking about "im going to go take my coffee break in a few minutes". A line started to form both of them turn their back to myself an another gentleman both of us holding fishing gear. Just for him to say our till doesn't work. Maybe focus less on your coffee break in a few minutes an take a minute to inform us the till is busted that we need to go to the front of the store tills.

These folks know how to deliver a great shopping experience. From the lovely lady who greeted us to the gentleman who helped us with our purchase the service and quiet sales was great. They all give the impression they are happy to be in the job. We made a purchase that was the perfect fit for our needs at a price we were comfortable with.
The sportsperson heavy decore may not be for everyone but keep in mind that the vast majority of Bass Pro's customers are exactly that kind of person. These stores are like the old style natural history museum. I learn something everytime I shop in these stores.
Recommended.

I want to share my experience of buying a safe at Cabelas Bass Pro at Calgary Deerfoot location. First was very upsetting that information on the website is not full and not enough pictures. Location did not have a display. Second upon inspecting when we opened it it had on front door scratches and damage together with me there was another customer picking it up and he also had damages on front door in different place. Quality of outside paint is really poor, Inside is really better we opened another box even more damages. I wasn't offered any compensation for damages as all managers were busy...
Lastly customer service inside of Cabela's. When I was there to pick up the staff to pick up counter was really not engaged and just talking. Pick up associate McKenzie was really rude and condescending she has 0 customer service approach. They made me wait for 10 minutes just to say that I can go around for pick up also they wanted me to sign that I picked up before I actually did. When I explained that it's wrong she gave me an attitude being rude and walked away. I needed to call manager Kelly to find out that it's quite normal behavior and he will deal with it. At the same time 2 loading stuff members Josh and Dimitry was really nice they. I was ready to return the purchase but they were champs who walked me through really tried to clean up safe and loaded it safely. I usually shop at cross iron mills management there and stuff there is 5 times better and better trained it just Deerfoot location was closer to my house.

Terrible experience with ROB at Firearm Customer service.
Misinformation provided about the availability of firearm without even checking it in a rude manner and when we checked it online it was in stock, moreover to make sure we confirmed with other representative, we were told that they have 15 in stock.

First time shopping there was pretty good! Went Christmas shopping and got a good majority of it done there...They had a pretty large discount section that is definitely worth a browse when you go. For the hunters in your life they had a good selection of clothing dedicated to hunting AND to the individual person just wanting the hunting look.
For the doggo in your life they had a few toys and some even on sale.
The service was awesome and very friendly.
