  Wonderful staff working open on Dec 24th! Big up to young female staff member who noticed someone lining up at the wrong spot at cashier and had them stand behind me instead. Cashier AY0364 was efficient and interested in my best interest with promos. Thx!

  If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The staff at American eagle southcentre are absolutely amazing! Especially Britney their manager and Lauren a store clerk. I recently bought pants from the US and was assured if I needed to exchange the sizing I could when I got home back to Canada. When I got home I had nothing but issues trying to get the smaller size pants. I had been told I could exchange them anywhere verbally and in an email but AE customer service kept going back and forth not letting me. Britney and Lauren went above and beyond to try and rectify the issue taking time to speak to customer service for me and get the issue resolved. After a week and a half I was able to have my pants exchanged. Whilst dealing with customer service was a nightmare, these women made my experience so much better. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to their customers! AE has definitely lucked out with them! Thank you so much!

  Displays were easy to navigate and find sizes. However, staff were extremely unaccomodating. I went on a mid-weekday evening, it was not busy. There was 1 customer other than me in the store when I walked in and 3 staffs. I was not offered any help at all! In addition, I had to keep making it obvious that I was waiting for a fitting room to be opened whilst holding several clothes - two of the staffs continued to chat right across me in the store. As I was shopping for my upcoming winter vacation, I had to try on things a few times, staffs passed by me and in front of me while I was holding a bulk of clothes on one hand as I had intended to buy them from my first fitting and several other clothes on the other hand as I was searching for more. No one offered to take them to the cashier, even though I had already tried going nearby the cash register to have them hold it while I shopped. It is hard to speak to staffs especially when they move or walk away when they see you approaching. As staffs were unapproachable and inconsiderate, I spent over an hour helping myself in the store, and two other new customers approached me for help and were helped - asking for certain things’ locations. This experience has been extremely unprofessional; I will not be coming back to this location despite the convinience of the distance. One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced!
