Staff are terrible apart from this one guy who helped out in the changing room. I believe he had an accent and super friendly guy. All other staff members horrendous. As I walked in the "greeter" told me about the sale but you could clearly see she was not bothered at all. Another lady came over briefly asked if I needed help, again she honestly didn't want to help I could just tell from her body language. Definitely won't be visiting this store again, pure garbage in terms of customer service.

Didn’t know this place was comedy cause their policies, clothing and staff are a joke. Especially at the Chinook Mall location. Staff are so stuck up. This brand is trying too hard, just like their staff. If you want respect as a customer or a place that wont judge you for walking in with a return, don’t go here, you won’t find it. If you’re looking for something thats cheap in quality and overpriced, go here.

Decided to give Alo a try, but I’ve confirmed this is not my vibe. I bought my first sweater online during one of their membership sale events and got a size too big, so I went in-store to exchange it for a smaller one.
When I got to the counter, the staff told me I couldn’t do a direct exchange because it was purchased online and discounted. Instead, I would have to return it and repurchase the exact same item at full price… even though the sale price wasn’t even that amazing to begin with - it was still expensive for the quality lol.
The whole experience felt like I was being shamed for buying their “high-end” product at a lower price as if that meant I shouldn’t even ask for a size exchange. The staff said something along the lines of “You can’t exchange it because you bought this online during our sale - you’ll have to return it and buy the other size at full price” with zero sympathy or effort toward customer service. There was really no need for the snobbish attitude. At the end of the day, you are all salaried employees. Working at Alo does not make you better than anyone else, and definitely not above customers.
Overall, not the best customer service, not the best return/exchange policy, and not the best quality. I genuinely don’t understand why exchanging for a different size had to be such an ordeal. The store vibe also felt off - all the staff came across as cold and a bit judgy. I wouldn’t return.

It is my first time ordering their product online. Bought the wrong size and tried to exchange it in store. The male staff on the counter assisting me was ok. He asked his Manager’s opinion about my situation, she approached him to tell him no, and cannot even look at me to explain that they cannot assist me. As a Manager, could have been friendlier and sympathetic instead of walking away with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. This was on August 12th, between 3:15-3:45. Very disappointing given that their product was super expensive as it is. Oh well. Learned my lesson there to not go to this store anymore.

Long haired male staff very rude to my kid, my kid was looking at shoes, took the shoe from my kid and he said “I need that”. He then told us not to mess anything up in the store. Dude, thats part of the job. I did not proceed with my purchase. In summary, they hate kids here, even if I returned everything my kid touched.
