- QQQuis (Quis)Aug 11, 20251.0New Customer with PNC Bank. New as in less than 30 days. I took a visit this past Saturday to deposit a check but clearly stated that I would not like to proceed with depositing the check if I can not have any funds immediately available. (Was going on vacation with my 11 year old son, where arcades and such was there. So I needed cash). Anyway, the friendly guy proceeded to deposit my check with a PNC stamp on the back of my check. Which voided it from any other bank service place from cashing it. I know because I tried three more places after leaving PNC Bank with a stamped check that I didn't ask to be deposited. Why am I writing this review? Seriously, it ruined my entire Wisconsin Dells trip. Completely. How was it ruined? The rental car i was going to pay for. No money. The water park, breakfast, dinner and arcades. No money. You get the point. My personal lesson from this situation is TRULY LISTEN as a customer service rep. He was moving too fast. He's not a bad bank teller, very friendly actually, but this mistake could have been avoided if he slowed down and communicated his actions before processing.
