I, Leonardo Morel, have lived at Lincoln Ridge Apartments in unit 937 for 10 years and have had a wonderful experience! The location is perfect, within walking distance to mall, Woodman’s, Walmart Princeton Club and close to public transit. The management staff, especially Stacie Gaustad and Heidi Dutan are incredibly responsive and polite. Maintenance requests are handled immediately by Don and the job is incredibly well done. The community is well-maintained and quiet. Highly recommended!"
My apartment is modern, clean, and felt like home immediately. Now management has done a full remodeling of my apartment out of the blue that has me even more excited to live here. The property has great amenities like a gym/pool, which are always clean. Neighbors are friendly, and the area feels safe and secure. The attention to detail in the, apartment, from the appliances to the fixtures, made it worth every penny. Will definitely stay longer!
Thanks so much Lincoln Ridge for being my dream home!
Of the NUMEROUS apartments I’ve rented over the years, Lincoln Ridge is The Best. Which is precisely why I’ve stayed a renter here for decadeS.
I’m honestly stymied by the various complaints I’m reading here.
• Office staff: Although I miss favorite staff members who’ve moved on — Hi Lisa! You’re still🥇to me! :-} — I’ve found Stacie & Heidi nothing but nice. Pleasant, HELPful, personable. :-)
• Maintenance: When I’ve put requests for maintenance in? I’ve always received timely responses.
• As I don’t own a vehicle right now, I can’t speak to parking, but when I DID own a car, I never experienced problems finding a spot to park.
• Shoveling in Winter: The parking lot’s & sidewalks are always — ALWAYS — cleared right away.
• The Grounds: Lovely, with nice mature trees.
• This Neighborhood: So nice that when friends from Texas visited me last Summer, they were oohing & ahhing over how pretty it is. One cousin years back called the view from these hillside apartments, “panoramic.” Oh: yes, Lincoln Ridge Apartments are built near the top of hillsides.
Factor in the flat-out gorgeous High Point public park at the top of the hill — some of the apartments border it — and the many green areas around, plus close proximity to rural, and this has got to be among the prettiest living areas in the city.
• The Pool: It’s well-maintained.
• Grocery Stores: Woodman’s, Walmart, & Aldi’s are right close by. A little further, Metcalfe’s near the West Towne Mall. [<- A Barnes & Noble is in the same strip mall as Metcalfe’s.]
People will always find things to complain about, but gosh: honestly: the pros far outweigh any cons here.

I moved into this place on short notice, they were the only apartment with open leases when I was moving in (perhaps should have been a warning). I stayed there for 3.5 years during which I got to experience.
When I first moved in the furnace filter was a thick carpet of mold.
Mice coming in through a hole in my wall and when I complained they first blamed it on me.
A bathroom fix that left holes between the flooring and the tub.
And, strange oily residue appearing on walls (which I got charged for on move out)
For the most part this didn't bother me, as the apartments rent was relatively low ~1200 in 2022 rasing about 100 dollars a year to roughly 1400 when I moved out.
But I got quite annoyed when on move out it says that they will clean the carpet for free, but determine they need to replace the carpet due to 4 1-2 inch "stains" that they didn't even attempt to clean.
I will admit that I could have cleaned deeper, if it was worth it to me but the fact that a non trashed apartment was able to use the entire deposit + pet deposit except for 70 dollars is absurd.
Clawing back the deposit is not worth it to me, however if I can get ONE apartment to be left empty for one month from my review because someone chose a different apartment I would be happy.
If you are coming up to work in the industry try your luck with some temporary housing, or a hotel before signing up with this slum lord.
This makes me sad to write as well as I trusted Blake Capitol Corp as they had a winning name.

Nice location, close to mall, theater, and highway, but management seems to be unable to communicate with their staff, they also have a problem keeping track of tenant issues such as the maintenance. They have not repaired our window for 3 years since we moved in (we bring this issue up every time we paid rent so I know they have it in writing).
Don't expect them to care about their tenants, they rather evict you than deal with confrontation (so I have heard from my neighbors).
I do not recommend renting here unless they'er your employer, even Epic and Collage students should look to other complexes if you don't want to deal with a disorganized management.
P.S. The window has black mold.
Alright, let's take it from the top. We first moved in to Lincoln Ridge Apartments and had good vibes with all the management. We had a few issues with our dishwasher, that ended up getting replaced, in a timely manner. I own a dog and had asked management to please call before entering the apartment due to a liability issue. If my dog were to bite someone, I would be at fault. A few months later, one morning I heard a knock at the door, but I was half asleep. I get up to go to the door, and the lock start to unlock, and as soon as I go to the door and touch the knob, the lock magically locks itself again. I open the door to find a maintenance guy there. I asked him why he would open my door if I had requested that I get a call before anyone entering my apartment. He said he wasn't aware of that. I decided to let it slide seeing as I was in my apartment. But what do you think would have happened if I hadn't been home? Just today, I come home from work and see a maintenance note saying someone had been inside. I ask all of my roommates if they had set up the appointment and all of them said they didn't set up any appointment. So I call Lincoln Ridge and ask them why it is that someone had entered my apartment without prior consent from either of us. He responded that he wasn't aware someone had been in my apartment, but later mentioned Lisa said something about an emergency situation. Apparently a water line broke? I simply told him if there was another person entering my apartment without prior consent that I would have my lawyer contact him directly. Moments after this phone call had ended, I receive a call from Lisa from Lincoln Ridge Apartments saying she is frustrated that I called about the matter. She had told me that someone had called in a request to have some black mold removed from the bathroom. And she asked me how she would know there is black mold in the common bathroom without someone calling in. Seems a little strange to me. Now I look in the bathroom to find the black mold was gone. It was painted over. Now how do I know this hasn't happened with previous tenants? I'm willing to bet that that black mold has forever been prevalent. So they had to have known about the mold and wanted to paint it before the next tenants move in and found out. I'm willing to bet if someone removed a piece of the drywall in the bathroom that you would find horrid conditions beneath. And also they say in the lease to make sure you turn on the bathroom fan to prevent mold. Is the fan policy something to cover their rear ends? I would never, ever, recommend this place for ANYONE to live. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a rental property. If you sign a lease with Lincoln Ridge you will soon find out the many negative things that are associated with this property. Maybe a building inspector should take a look for the mold still in the shower, just a thought... And the insulation doesn't seem to exist, since the wind seems to just blow through the windows. We actually had ice forming on the inside of our bedroom window and blinds.
