We don’t live here, went on a tour to see the apartments. I don’t know the ladies name who gave us a tour, but she was a nightmare. She asked if we were looking for 2 bed with 1 or 2 baths. We said either one would work. She then proceeded to ask 1 or 2? We said we don’t mind, she rolled her eyes and mouthed the words “oh my god”. Then when I was asking her questions she just didn’t even answer them, went right over all questions. We toured the place, there was trash all over, the floors in the apartments didn’t have a single place you could step without it making a HUGE creaking noise. This place is a disaster and so are the people who work here. You have to pay $8 a month for each vehicle you have parked here, a $40 a month mandatory cable fee. I swear she talked for a whole 10 minutes about fees. There are much better apartments out there for better price. Just trying to help yall out by warning you here.

I’ve lived here now for 7 months. So far the experience has been positive. I used to live in cascade park, and this neighborhood feels way safer! Yes there’s still homeless but I’ve never gotten anything stolen living here, which was not the case at my last apartment. Before moving here, i actually did research on what apartment I was applying for. So I drove by beforehand and checked it out to make sure there was available parking! I’d suggest you do the same before just applying to an apartment. I’ve never had a problem getting a parking spot except Halloween night! The managers have resolved every issue I’ve had Which was only regarding smells from other apartments. Yes it is a smoking apartment so there’s going to be people smoking, But management has handled the people who were excessively smelly. There will be smells from the fireplaces in the winter. It can get bad but opening a window helps. You can hear neighbors noises sometimes, but it’s not too bad. Maintenance is pretty quick. Sometimes you need to remind them. But I see maintenance around frequently working so I do believe they’re doing their job. The pool is really nice during summer. It can get crowded, it can get dirty. But I do see them frequently cleaning it during the summer. I love all the communication from management and they often throw events or contests, and also helped out with food during the government shut down. The apartments are clean. The park is nice. Yes there’s dog poop. Try finding an apartment without that though. It’s because the human race is inconsiderate. Not the fault of the apartment. The apartments are more pricey. There are some unnecessary fees like a cable fee. But this is still one of the cheapest 2 bedroom places I’ve found in all of Vancouver that isn’t a low income housing. And 2 floors makes the place feel bigger and more spacious. The apartment is pretty spacious. My kid has a ton of room to play. The kitchen can actually fit more than one person. Same with the bathroom. Way better than other places I’ve toured and lived at. I took a chance moving here but it’s been worth it so far. I will update though if anything happens.

I have lived at Renaissance for over 2 years now. I wanted to update my review! Our new manager Jessica is AMAZING! We have more community events than we have ever had, she sends out information via email regularly, which I love! She is on top of any concerns that I have had (which have been very few) and overall I feel she is really good at her job. It is nice to live somewhere where communication with management is so easy. Maintenance is also A+ the Supervisor Tony is on top of getting any work order I submit handled as quickly as possible, though I have had very few work orders. Everything in my unit works wonderfully! These apartments are a bit dated on the outside, but don't let that fool you! They are updated inside! It is so nice to open my front door every evening and love the home I am walking into. Also, did I mention the walls seem sound proof? I have NEVER heard my neighbors on either side! Thank you Jessica and Tony for making my apartment a great place to call home. I might live here forever!

This place has some of the best staff that I have seen from any apartment complex, super helpful, understanding and very professional. They make you feel heard and Jessica the Manager here is the absolute best! If you’re looking for a grade A staff, look no further, the Supervisor Tony gets the job done. This place is home.
