  The people at Merrill Gardens the staff that is are the best they could be. They're always willing to talk to you try and help you with anything they can. The facility is kept clean and they try and arrange as many activities as they possibly can to keep us busy. I have been here at Merrill Gardens for almost a year and I've made a lot of friends with the people who live here and many of the staff. I am fortunate because I am still able to drive and so I have more out that some of the people live here but it still seems like a great place to me. Once a week the cleaning staff comes in changes our sheets our pillowcases are towels and they wash them and return them to our room usually the same day or the day after. This keeps our rooms looking neat and tidy to make it more livable for us. I don't generally write reviews although I probably should for many places but this place is outstanding. I always feel like when I return that I'm going home and that's good feeling. The management staff is just as open to be to communicate with you as anybody else in the facility. Shane is who is the Manager of this facility is this open to talk to you as anybody here at any time if he's available.

  My in laws stayed at Merrill Gardens Tukwila for several months after my father in law had a stroke. Although the change from totally Independent Living to Assistant Living with a walker was a huge change for both of them, the staff and caregivers at Merrill Gardens Tukwila were truly wonderful! Shannon helped us plan the move while my father in law was still in the hospital and in rehabilitation. Once at Merrill Gardens Tukwila, the in-house PT/OT and speech therapy was available and great at reminding them of their appointments the caregiving team came gave compassionate help with meds and showers and the dining room servers were unfailingly patient and respectful. Our family is grateful for the entire staff care and dedication. This is a good place for those you love.

  The staff at Merrill Gardens Tukwila were incredibly helpful and supportive in the last months of my father's life. The care team was responsive and engaged, and they helped make a difficult time a little easier.

  When my Dad passed away earlier this year we were all concerned about Mom. Dad had been the one to drive her everywhere; he took care of the bills and the upkeep on their home. Mom has now moved into Merrill Gardens in Tukwila and she is happy. She smiles again. Mom participates in their craft projects. She goes to the movies they show (in their theater) and she has made new friends. The staff is stellar. They know the names of every resident and plan events that include the families. We could not recommend this place more. If you're looking for a home for your parents, or if You are looking for a place to live, Merrill Gardens at Tukwila would be an outstanding choice.
