  I’ll start with all of the pros! The experience has been great. There’s a reason I give five stars despite the couple inconveniences. The move in process was smooth and the receptionists have been great to work with. I’ve never had any appliance issues but they always checked them thoroughly when there were routine inspections, which I appreciated. The elevator has had very few moments where it was out of service and they always fixed it very quickly, and when they had routine maintenance they always disclosed it well in advance and did it at times that people didn’t frequently use it. The rooftop area was always clean, residents and staff took care of it well. The lobby was always clean, and they always go out of their way to make it look nicely decorated. I feel very safe in this apartment complex for the most part. Everywhere you live comes with risks in the city, but the surrounding area is very clean and I’ve gone for walks without any issues. It is also only a few blocks away from the bus stop (Pacific Ave) that goes straight to downtown Seattle, which is a major plus. I highly recommend this apartment complex. If I didn’t need to move I would stay here indefinitely! I’m actually sad to move, to be honest. No apartment complex is perfect, but this is a well rounded one in terms of quality of apartment, environment outside, and price range. I’ve lived here two years so I have had enough time to form a good opinion on the place. Now to the rest. It’s a little difficult to have a dog here since there’s not any designated grassy/dirt potty areas but it’s really not a deal breaker. They do have doggy bags in the court yard, which is a nice courtesy. My room always smelled a little weird since the day I moved in, but it wasn’t a big deal. If that could potentially bother you, just check out the room first. It didn’t bother me enough for it to be a deal breaker. It also isn’t the most handicapped friendly since theres no ramps, but unless you are disabled this apartment will give you no issues. There is an elevator, but only having one elevator can be tricky if you’re wheelchair bound. I wouldn’t take points off of this apartment for that though, I’m just letting you know for if you use a wheelchair. Once I finish moving out at the end of the month I will update my review to reflect but so far they have disclosed all potential and necessary fees clearly to me (they’re all very reasonable potential cleaning/repair prices, I would know because I am an accountant that does books for house rentals so I see what average costs are) and the communication has been very prompt and positive!

  I’m really excited about moving into my new apartment! I’m absolutely loving my studio—it’s cozy, comfortable, and feels like home already. Gladys has been amazing throughout the process. She’s kind, patient, and very easy to talk to, which made everything smooth and stress-free. She was always helpful and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I truly appreciate the great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-managed apartment community.

  ***update after living here for 8 months*** Everything in my original review below still stands, but I wanted to add that on-site maintenance is so responsive and kind. Gladys with the main office is so sweet and communicative, and the whole building remains clean and quite, any tenants I meet are friendly and mindful. Problems and issues are handled quickly, though I haven't experienced anything crazy. Packages are, at least in my experience, delivered easily and even when left outside of a door or in the garage, are not stolen or moved. I still highly recommend this place and I intent to renew my lease. *original review* I love it here! If you are considering this complex, here is my experience- Pros- • I am on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of Rainier, this side of the city is really nice if you can grab an east facing unit! • Compared to Seattle this area is a breeze to navigate and very clean, quiet, safer. • Parking is excellent, there is always a space open and it's secure. • Staff is so, so helpful and kind! Maintenance has been quick to resolve any issues, and the office ladies are always happy to answer questions. • My unit was clean, no smoke or pet smell, all appliances have been working flawlessly • Hot water is super fast and internet is great (I chose verizon) • The application, approval and move in was quick and easy for me. I toured, applied & was moved in within 4 days. Cons • This is subjective, but the unit itself is an outdated style and I hate carpet (I have pets, so that's usually a deal breaker). There are comparable apartments with freshly updated rooms and hard floors. • That's...that's about it, overall this is a pleasant experience and perfect for my needs, I will probably stay here longer than I originally planned :) A gem for sure!

  Excellent place to live! I moved from out of state and was glad to find the apartment looks exactly like the pictures and better. The staff are very responsive, professional, and polite. No hidden fees, everything is straightforward from start to finish. Bringing in a roommate and a new puppy was a breeze in this place. All my maintenance requests were completed within 24-48 hours. The location is perfect to walk to museums, restaurants, parks, and the docks. The Y next door waives introductory fees for Villagio residents. The view of commencement bay from the apartment was perfect. Full disclosure: It is downtown so you'll hear a few night owls passing by on the street at night. My unit faced East, so I'd suggest an A/C unit for the summer to combat the heat. Also, the elevator went down 4-5 times during the year I was there. Not a dealbreaker for me but I wouldn't reccomend for someone who needs ADA housing.

  I love and miss this place. I lived in a one bed one bath apartment and I am satisfied with everything. Bedroom and bedroom size are big. A lot of place for storage. High quality and fast response maintenance, staffs and people are nice here. Has a huge parking garage for us to park (paid and unassigned parking), has a very comfy rooftop. This is so far the best apartment I've ever lived in in my life.
