  I lived at Sixth & Alder for nearly 2 years and it was one of the best places I've ever lived. From the day I did my tour I felt valued welcome by All of the staff. Marlene is the property manager and she is so warm and welcoming she listens to you doesn't try to sell you on something that you don't need but tries to find the best thing for you and I really do feel like she legitimately cares about the tenants. I always had really great service as far as maintenance requests I feel like they do a good job of handling those requests as quickly as possible. Additionally the door to the leasing office is always open to you to come in and talk to them about anything you have going on they are even very welcoming to my pup. It is a great location if you have a dog there is a small dog park which is perfect for not having to go and walk around downtown Tacoma if you just need to take your dog out to go potty not quite big enough for exercising a big dog but that's okay! There's even a space heater out there so that you don't have to stand in the cold while they're doing their business. The dog wash station is usually pretty clean it's a good size and there is a dryer that you can use as well for your pup. The rooftop has stunning sunrises. The view of Mount Rainier is beautiful. The apartments themselves are well maintained and very clean and cleaning staff come almost every single day to clean the hallways so it always smells good. Although there isn't air conditioners in the unit there is very convenient ports built-in so that you can just hook your air conditioner unit up to that instead of putting it in your window. The only reason I moved out of there is because I needed something with a little bit more space and also because I was moving closer to work otherwise I don't think I ever would have left. I really can't rave enough about this place I had so many good days and experiences while I lived here the location is great The garage parking is convenient and I feel like rent is reasonable.

  I lived here for two years and only moved because I relocated out of state. Overall, this was one of the best places I’ve lived, and I truly miss it every day. The building was consistently well-maintained hallways, elevators, community lounge, and rooftop were always clean, which made it easy and comfortable when having guests over. Anytime I had an issue, it was addressed and fixed immediately, which really speaks to the management and maintenance team. I had a reserved parking stall, which was very convenient. The only downside was that guest parking could be a bit challenging at times since street parking is limited. There’s so many food options available nearby which was convenient for me as well. Overall, this is a great place to live, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering it.

  I’ve had an incredible experience living at Sixth and Alder in Tacoma! The management team is absolutely amazing—always responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about the residents. The entire complex is kept spotless, which makes it feel so welcoming every day. The amenities are top-notch! From the gym, to the rooftop mini golf, this complex has the best amenities. Plus, I always felt safe here, whether coming home late or just relaxing around the building. If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, modern, and managed by an exceptional team, Sixth and Alder is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

  Amelia is a delight to work with. She worked hard to get us into our dream house....I pestered her nearly every day of the process and she was always patient and responsive. Outstanding customer service from her and Marlene. Love living here. It's clean and the amenities are great. Location can't be beat.
