  BEWARE! PROPERTY DAMAGE AND SHADY BILLING PROCEDURES! Read before you sign, they have a line of damage waiver crammed into their agreement, which supposedly relieves their responsibility for any damage they inflict to your property; total damage was approximately $1,500. They charge $175 to deliver and $175 to pick-up. So, you’re looking at $350, before you even get to the monthly payments. Their billing is sent out monthly, yet they arrived each month after the due date which caused us to owe approximately $20 above the regular invoice; none of our invoices came on time and I had to fight with their billing department each time to request invoices to be sent on time. On delivery, the driver ran over and subsequently destroyed a $150 roll of WASDOT Silt Fencing with wire backing. I emailed, Kim Slater, promptly and was ignored. We used the 10’ Connex for 5 months and were happy to see it go, due to the issues we had with PacVan. The day the driver came to pick it up, it had snowed and our easement road was icy. We suggested a different pick-up date due to road conditions. The driver decided to pick-up anyways, drove off our road several times, hit a well head on our neighbors property, ended up crushing one end of a steel culvert that was freshly laid under our road and came within an inch of hitting our electrical transformer. The truck he drove did not have side mirrors that could extend beyond the connex he was carrying, so myself and the framing crew we had hired to frame our house, had to guide him back out. I called Kim Slater who was very rude and dismissive on the phone regarding the situation. She informed me she would speak to her supervisor. I sent an email detailing videos and pictures of the damage and she retorted that it could have been another vehicle that did the damage despite the fact their flatbed truck was the only dual axle on the property at the time of the incident. (Hard to dispute dual tire tracks on fresh snow.) Horrible customer service; they seemed friendly until we had a problem. Kim Slater, was absolutely vile in our dealing with her and the company she represents. She sent a dozen emails using her business email to continually harass us. If you are looking to rent or buy a storage container, and value your money and property please don’t put them at risk to rent from Pac Van.
