  During our move out inspection the landlord stated that it was in very good condition and that we would get most of our $750 deposit back. We signed a form that he wrote up saying “good condition, standard cleaning only”. Today we received a check for $89 that included an invoice from their cleaning crew for $540 deducted from the deposit. Not sure why we were told we’d get most of our money back, a bit of a let down after being given higher expectations from the landlord himself. We enjoyed living here despite the broken drain above our bedroom that flooded our apartment twice in three years. Oh well I guess, this is what we have come to expect from landlords in this time period 🥲 overall, it was a pretty good building to live in, just a few disappointments sprinkled in.

  Parking is an issue for this apartment. They have 40 spots below the building for 120 units. With limited parking below the building, they offer parking in an nearby garage, River Park Square Parking. This is a garage that can be used by mall patrons, those visiting the park or downtown, etc. The agreement is apartment tenants will pay $190 for monthly parking and park on or above the 8th floor. A mall elevator is used to go to the second floor, followed by a ~100 yard walk through the shopping mall to the public sky walk. Once in the apartment building an elevator will be used to go to apartment floor, key card is required to go up. This elevator is also used by mall patrons and the public to go down to the street level. The public using the elevator will go through the apartment entry lobby and mail area. During my visit, tenants' packages were seen on a table in this area for anyone to take. Many of these details were not disclosed despite asking specifically about parking multiple times.

  Great location and straightforward check in. The apartment was lovely! Fully functioning kitchen, walk in closet, washer and dryer! The fold out couch was a good size and comfortable for what it was. Everything was fairly clean, however, there some cleaning supplies left out in the bathroom. One downside was that I was not notified that I would not be provided with a second fob since it was being repaired. This was an issue since there were 3 of us staying in the apartment. To have an extra would have been helpful.
