  My dad moved here a few months ago. We are so happy with the progress he has made while there. Before he moved in, he was living off of junk food and very rarely leaving his apartment. Now, he sends me photos of all the tasty meals he eats and he signs up for almost every activity. He’s socializing in weekly domino games, nightly movie nights, and Friday happy hours. The staff is also really amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful. They all know him by name and check in with everyone regularly. I love that we can visit whenever we want and partake in a meal &/or activity. We can also receive the weekly and monthly newsletters. We’re so, so happy he moved in to Merrill. 100/10

  Our parents moved into Merrill Gardens at Ballard five months ago and it was the best decision we've made. After years of looking for the right place, we feel we've found it. It's open and light design appeals to their Nordic roots, they love the food, and have made friends easily. The nursing team is top-notch and the vibe is warm and familial. We love being able to walk with our parents to Ballard Avenue for dinner, the Locks, the Nordic Heritage Museum and the local elementary school just up the street. Oh, and the rooftop garden! So much to rave about. We're delighted and relieved.
