If I could give zero stars, I would. The management at this complex — especially Cassandra — is unprofessional, dismissive, and completely careless. We’re now going on the fourth week of our so-called “secured” parking gate being broken, and several cars have already been broken into. Yet management continues to advertise this as “secured parking”, and definitely makes sure to take the $195 out of your account every month, though you are not getting what you are paying for. The entire complex constantly smells like weed, and instead of addressing real safety or cleanliness concerns, they’re focused on charging residents for what used to be free parking/ or putting out mandatory trash bins by your door that will increase your monthly payment. It’s incredibly frustrating to see this kind of neglect paired with such poor customer service. I cannot comprehend how someone as rude and unresponsive as Cassandra is allowed to manage this property. If you’re looking for a safe, professionally managed place to live — look elsewhere.

I am not one to leave reviews. I generally keep to myself and understand that apartment living has its quirks. But the situation at Traxx has become intolerable, and I've hit my breaking point. I’ve been a resident here for a long time, and I've watched as management seems to change constantly, with each new team becoming more intrusive than the last. This year has been a non-stop parade of notices requiring entry into our units for "inspections." We've already had fire alarm tests, leak/damage checks, and window washing. Today, we received another notice. This time, they "must" enter our homes to clean the dryer vents. The notice gives a ridiculous, non-negotiable time window: Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is completely unacceptable. It means that for four straight days, I have to live with the anxiety that a stranger could barge into my home at any moment. I work in an office. I cannot be home. I have a skittish pet who will be terrified by strangers suddenly appearing in her safe space. This makes me incredibly uncomfortable. What about my personal property? If something goes missing, what's the procedure? Am I just supposed to trust whoever they hire? This is a massive invasion of my privacy. This is NOT normal. I lived in my last apartment for 2.5 years and management never once required entry for these "inspections." An annual fire inspection is more than enough to ensure safety. This constant, forced entry is a power trip, not a necessity. And don't even get me started on the "smoke-free" policy. It's a complete joke. The elevators constantly reek of weed. The irony of seeing a "No Smoking" sticker in the elevator was bad enough—then someone slashed it with a knife, and a little while later, the entire sticker was ripped off the wall. It perfectly sums up the lack of respect and enforcement around here. I am paying for a private home, not a dorm room where an RA can enter whenever they please. Management needs to remember that we are residents, not inmates. We deserve basic respect and privacy. I am furious and deeply uncomfortable, and I am strongly considering my options when my lease is up.

I generally don’t write reviews, but I really wish someone had shared their experience before I moved here. I’ll also mention that management was offering a TV raffle for people who left reviews, which felt like a bit of a conflict of interest. Move-In: Two days before my scheduled move-in from another state, I called the office to confirm when I could pick up keys and was told they had no record of my lease because the employee handling it had left. To their credit, they did manage to finalize and sign my lease that same day, but when I arrived, several things went wrong: (1) My parking request hadn’t been recorded. (2) The mailbox I was assigned was already taken by another tenant. (3) I was told to set up Wi-Fi through Xfinity, but later learned the internet was managed by the building. Since it was a holiday weekend, I went three days without Wi-Fi. (4) My name wasn't added to the callbox outside for at least a week (5) My washer and dryer didn’t work upon move-in and it took them 4 days to fix it. I emailed the management team and even escalated the issue, but never received a response. When I finally went to the office to address the issues in person, the manager at the time (Zara) seemed casual about the situation and said she’d send maintenance up. Zara's kids were always running around the apartment on their scooters and making noise. New Management / Parking Issues: When a new management team took over, I was hopeful things would improve — until my car was towed. They had rolled out a new parking system before Memorial Day weekend but didn’t clearly explain what to do if someone parked in your assigned spot. I came home Saturday to find another vehicle in my space. I emailed management explaining the situation, included my car details, and asked for guidance since I had to temporarily park elsewhere. I didn’t get a response. When I visited the office Tuesday morning to get my parking sticker, there was no mention of my car being towed. By that evening, I discovered my car had been towed — despite my email and earlier visit that day. When I requested compensation and explanation I was told the new manager was returning from sick leave and there was nothing they could do. Parking Overall: Parking is very limited unless you pay for a garage spot. Visitor parking is nearly impossible and I believe they increased their rates. Rent Fee: They charge an ACH fee to pay for your rent. Theft: There were many incidents were someone broke into the package room to the point where I had my packages sent to a friend's house nearby. Upon move in I was never given instructions to give to amazon or other packages deliveries. The bike room was broken into. Move-Out: Move-out was also a bit confusing. I received conflicting information about where movers could park and how to reserve the elevator. I had to schedule two separate move-out inspections, which was tough since I work from home. About two weeks after moving out, I even received a text asking for my keys — even though I had handed them directly to the manager on move-out day. Summary: Overall, my experience was frustrating mainly due to poor communication and disorganization. The maintenance team is helpful and friendly, but the parking situation, and lack of responsiveness made it difficult to recommend living here.

I lived at the location for a year. Pros: There is a library and gym nearby. Maintenance is responsive. These are new apartments however the appliances aren’t. Con’s 1) The location is not good, due to parking. I actually paid for a electric car parking space, requested a temporary sticker as my car was being fixed and I was using a rental car. They towed my rental car from my paid 2) Leasing office is always closed. The rent portal is always down. There is no dropbox. 3) The fees that are charged are excessive. An additional fee is required on all rent payments, including from your own checking account. You will need to submit a paper check in order to avoid paying the fees. There is no rent box to place payment so you will need to submit when leasing agents are available. 4) Parking is very expensive. You will need to buy a parking spot to avoid being towed. I am paying $245 a month for parking. There are no free spots granted for ANY guest parking or tenant parking. 5) You will pay two rent insurance bills, despite showing proof of insurance at move-in. You will need to contact this outside insurance to get this removed from your rent bill. (They will request you resubmit your insurance documentation to them and wait for them to approve your coverage.) Please be aware, the insurance charge is automatically added without notice. You have to initiate the process. You will not get a refund for paying double insurance bills. 6) The mail room gets broken into, I would recommend having deliveries mailed to a more secure place…or a Amazon locker location 7) The bike room also gets broken into. 8) The Weight room is considerably lacking. There are cardiac machines and free weights mostly. You can buy a membership at the gym nearby. 9) Trash room. Depending on where you live in the building, you will have to walk a half a mile to empty your trash. But you’ll definitely get your steps. 10) Internet is free, but it results in unknown devices sharing and showing up on your list of devices. It is Xfinity Internet, but you are unable to remove or forget these devices…unlike a paid account. This occurs despite the id and password you create… 😨 11) You will pay for internal errors made in processing rent payments. The leasing agents will delay or respond with, “ I am waiting for response from the Regional Manager .” Despite the current 2 month wait and the sudden Tenant Notice to all residents of the additional fee to have rent deducted from a confirmed bank account. 12). The owner (Coast Property Management) will not respond to their website online requests for assistance. Leasing agents are non responsive to phone calls. Hope this helps… You can also log in to the Better Business Bureau website and do a search on Coast Property Management. There is an incentive for granting reviews
