I've been living here for a while now, and I have to say that the staff alone make this place worth it.
Susan, Scout, and Danielle are absolutely phenomenal. They're professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely a joy to talk to. My dog gets so excited every time she sees them, which really speaks to the kind of warm, welcoming energy they bring every single day.
Luis and Garrett deserve just as much praise. Anytime I've had an issue in my apartment, they've been incredibly fast to resolve my concern. No long waits, no following up multiple times. They're friendly, efficient, and always leave things better than they found them.
Honestly, every single person who works here goes above and beyond, and they all deserve a raise. If you're looking for a place where the staff truly cares about its residents, look no further. Highly recommend!

1 Star - Avoid This Place at All Costs
If I could give Kinect Lynnwood zero stars, I would. This has been a nightmare of unprofessionalism and potential theft that has dragged on for over two years.
The Financial Red Flags:
I applied for an apartment between December 2023 and January 2024. They denied my application claiming I didn't make enough money, yet they had no problem taking $700 from me for a deposit. When it came time to refund it, they arbitrarily kept $200 for absolutely no reason. They claimed they sent a check for the remaining $500, but it never arrived.
The Customer Service is Appalling:
When I tried to dispute the $200 deduction, the staff was beyond arrogant. One staff member literally told me to "stop talking!" as if I were a servant in her house rather than a prospective client. The level of entitlement and disrespect is staggering.
The Runaround:
Fast forward to December 2025—nearly two years later—and I’m still fighting for my money. I contacted them again, only to be told they were "on holiday" until January. When I finally reached someone in January 2026, the staff member was completely incompetent. She had the audacity to suggest that because so much time had passed, I might not be "eligible" for a refund. Let’s be clear: Money doesn't expire. If anything, they owe me interest for holding my funds for 24 months.
The Current Situation:
After telling me the "accounting department is looking into it," they have now resorted to ghosting me. They simply stopped taking my calls.
Bottom Line: They are quick to take your money, rude when you ask for it back, and completely silent when they’re caught in a mistake. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. They are unprofessional and have zero integrity.

I recently moved out of Kinect @ Lynnwood after living there for three years, and I can honestly say it was a great experience. I initially moved in because friends lived here, but it quickly became my home!
My apartment was west-facing with amazing views of the Olympic Mountains. I’ve seen some incredible sunsets right from my living room (see attached pictures). It’s a very peaceful community, which both I and my dog loved. The location is unbeatable for dog owners; you have direct access to the Interurban Trail. If you walk the trail, you get incredible views of Mt. Rainier to the south and the North Cascades/Mt. Baker to the north. Plus, the Transit Center is just a 10-minute walk away.
I have to give a special shoutout to the Kinect Team, who have been fantastic:
* Danielle (Community Consultant): She is always courteous at the front desk, greets everyone with a smile, and ensures everything runs smoothly!
* Susan (Community Director): She handled my move-out queries personally and was incredibly understanding of my situation. She showed great patience with all of my questions.
* Garrett, Luis, and the rest of the team (Maintenance): Extremely prompt whenever I had a ticket and did a perfect job on every request.
* Nubia: She helped me move in three years ago. She walked me through all the amenities and really sold me on the place!
* Scott (Assistant Community Director): Thank you for the prompt and helpful email responses!
I only moved out due to a job relocation; otherwise, I would have stayed much longer. Highly recommend!
Everyone here, including Susan, Scout, and Danielle, does an amazing job of making me feel truly at home here.
I especially want to recognize Garrett for his exceptional care and consistency.
Garrett is hands-down the best maintenance professional I have ever encountered. I’ve lived in multiple communities over the past 15 years in Seattle and he truly stands out.
He is consistently responsive, professional, and genuinely kind. He doesn’t just fix issues — he communicates clearly, follows through, and makes you feel cared for as a resident. Since August, every ticket has been handled with patience and a smile. When it’s helpful, he’ll even take a moment to explain or show how things work.
I once asked him how he stays so positive, and he said, “I just love my job.” It shows. People like Garrett are rare and truly elevate the community.
