I want to echo the most recent Matt and E E's reviews. Things weren't perfect with Prometheus but things were generally good to the point a lot of us re-signed with them (although I do agree dealing with Stacey felt off.... the rest of the office staff was nice and responsive.) Compared to Waterton, things have definitely shifted for the worse and it even feels more corporate now. Of course there were some small issues with turnover, but I won't mention those. Staff lives on site so I'm a bit hopeful they can share some of these concerns people are bringing up. But here is a list of things I've noticed:
1. Reduced hours to 10 - 6 Mon - Sat. Unless you're working from home or your office is extremely close, it is inconvenient to not talk to someone in person. Especially contrast this with the 8 - 8 everyday (reduced on Sun) before with the old owners. Although there weren't many times we would need to go in for, there were small things that occurred such as packages getting delivered directly to the office that become a pain. For staff living on site of course they have access and more power to fix some issues so they might not perceive this as a problem but for us it is.
2. Missing staff even during office hours. Same with E E, I've shown up at 5:30 and waited until post 6 waiting but no one ever showed. Contrast this with the old managers who would have generally set lunch times and always had a sign up on what time they'd be back. Although, after that review I've seen them more consistently be in office til closing which is reassuring. EDIT: more days where they've closed shop at 5:30
3. Communication has been extremely lacking. When the elevator would go down with Prometheus, we'd get daily updates. While annoying, it definitely made a difference when Waterton didn't give any update for 2/3 weeks. While I understand vendors don't have an update, even a "no update" update would be assuring that they're generally calling and checking in on a status. The same with the trash compactor currently. Broke down Memorial Day weekend with them saying they'll fix it post Holiday, 1 week later finally an update (meanwhile the trash room is absolutely disgusting with overflow) (6/12 still broken w no update). Similar to 1, while on site staff might know, us not knowing makes it feel like we're not being taken care of. EDIT: back elevator wasn't working but no heads up from management on an elevator being reserved (happened again today 6/12)
4. Business center printing is gone and it says to go to the front office to ask them to print things. Connected to 1 and 2, if the office isn't open or accessible then can't necessarily print
5. EDIT - They've added water back at the minimum, wipe containers still not optimal
Couple issues even with Prometheus but to call out:
1. Theft has happened last summer before Waterton took over. They've broken into storage units it seems. The first time seemed like a fluke but the second time meant that security here isnt great
2. Critical latch system (the main electronic locks) are finicky to touch so you'll NEED to have either your phone or card lest you want to be stuck outside.
3. Really sensitive smoke detectors so you'll hear them constantly going off
4. Courtyard echoes and there are LOTS of poor dog owners here (have heard dogs kept outside until about 11 barking the entire time)
5. Bike situation is a total mess in the basement. Prometheus owners even have admitted lots of those are abandoned as well... simple solution would be to give residents 60 days to claim their bike or else it will get removed.
6. Our poor delivery drivers are definitely struggling with the Latch to get to the Amazon Hub. Not sure what the fix is but I've had to lead some of them down and then back up because the basement will lock them out as the elevator needs the same passcode
EDIT 7.Forgot to add that the elevators can smell really bad for weeks

Had a great experience living here and will certainly miss walking to the lake in the morning. It was a modern apartment on floor 5 facing east which provided some nice morning sun (on those rare days!). Office staff and maintenance staff are always very friendly and accommadating to requests and queries. Ken does a great job running the maintenance and is always very quick to deal with any issues and follow ups.
