Put in two small work orders on September 26th and haven't heard a word from maintenance for the office.
So I went into the office a few days ago to add something bigger to the short list and...
Crickets...
And I know this isn't the fault of the apartment complex but the tenants piling up the garbage outside of the compactor is absolute retardation.
That being said if they weren't so busy picking up trash I'm outside the compactor and putting it into the compactor they might be able to get you some maintenance requests...
It's not like a science people it's common sense.
Thanks

Security of the building is a joke. Threaten to review cameras for dog poop. Makes every excuse why they can't view cameras for vandalism to the outter doors of the building. Leave sharp shards around the hole kids have to use to get in the building because the company refuses to activate the call boxes on the front of the buildings. Only issue up to 3 fobs even though we are in a 5 bdrm. There are always children waiting at the entrance after school. I call the office to report an issue that is happening at the moment and no one investigates. There's a serious problem with people smoking Marijuana in the building and on the property near entrances or under windows a long the building. Over flowing trash compactor because no repercussions due to no reviewing of the cameras. Dryers keep breaking, on our 3rd one so far and its starting to dry only half way. So we need to run it twice for 1 load. Maintenence manager needs training on communication and customer retention. To much to complain about when it comes to the quality of the materials used to build the complex. Charge way to much for a bunch of broken promises when we signed the lease. Think hard before you choose to put yourself in a contract with a company that doesn't hold the people they hire accountable.

A lot of homeless, A lot of garbage that lingers in and is not cleaned up, too much dog poo poo that is not picked up by residents , the parking is way out of hand. If I were to have a guest come there is no parking for visitors . Renters use those spots for extra vehicles . A lot of vehicle have no Four Corner sticker there is no complete validation of anything . The security Company just does a drive by.
I do like to be able to see a view of the mountains instead of looking at other units that is a plus.
Too much junk on balcony’s. The list can go on.
It can get pretty rough at night time with the homeless with parties and all the cigarette smoke and pot smell sometimes Fetanal smell

I really want to love living here, but both maintenance and front-office service processes need serious improvement. I understand this is a large community, but basic communication, safety, and follow-through are fundamentals — not luxury amenities.
I have had a smoke detector issue open for over two months with no proactive follow-up. When maintenance finally came, they ignored the instruction to call before entering and walked into my apartment while I was asleep. My dog startled awake and barked, and only then did the tech leave. That’s not just inconvenient — that’s a safety and privacy breach.
This isn’t an isolated issue. Since moving here, maintenance has consistently fallen short. When our refrigerator broke, it took weeks of pushing just to get a replacement. That should never be a fight — the basics of habitability shouldn’t depend on how much a resident pushes or complains.
The office/admin staff also appear to be under-trained or overwhelmed. Whenever I call, no one reviews my account, checks the service request, looks at the timeline, or investigates. The default response is always deflection: “We’re busy, we’re short-staffed, it’ll get handled.” At this point, “short-staffed” has become a blanket excuse, not a justification.
I work in property management — I understand workload, emergencies, and staffing challenges. But if you have 400+ units, you should have the staff to support 400+ units. Being busy is not a pass for letting life-safety requests sit unresolved for months. Residents should not have to chase updates or beg for basic repairs.
This community has potential, but communication, proactive follow-up, maintenance staffing, and office training need serious attention. Respect for residents’ time, homes, and safety should be the minimum standard — not the exception.

I didn't even get a chance to live at this place and they're still getting one star from me. These leasing office people are so incredibly unprofessional and meek. I needed to relocate and this place was my first choice, I had a month's notice so naturally I expressed this to them and made sure a unit would be ready in time for my arrival. And for three weeks all these people did was jack me around, ask me for more paystubs, bank account information (weird), and some kind of employment verification which seemed to be the most important documentation for their process, yet they waited until a week before I was set to arrive to ask for it. Then, they stopped answering my multiple follow up emails checking on the process, no one on the phone could confirm or deny that my information was being sent out for review, it felt like they were just avoiding me and no one had the backbone to give me a straightforward answer. Then, the DAY BEFORE I'm supposed to travel and move in, they finally pick up the phone and spew some nonsense about "auditors" and basically tell me they can give me my deposit back AND that the unit I was supposed to move in to was still being worked on by maintenance so it wasn't even ready. If my income was an issue they should've known from the start instead of dragging me along for weeks. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a leasing office and I'm pretty sure these people don't know anything, it all really felt like a scam and they made my relocation 1,000 more stressful than it needed to be because no one had a backbone enough to just handle business. I will never live at another HNN community because of these people and their incompetency.
