This place is awful. Please, don’t send your loved ones here. Call lights all day long, no one answers. Wet pants for hours. There are a few good staff members but they’re all so unsupported, the good ones won’t last long. A money making scheme for whoever is at the top. And it’s frankly disgusting.

the halls smell stale, so do the rooms. and it looks uncared for making me wonder if they care about the residents the same way they care for the wood work, floors and garden bed. My dad is staying here for rehab. Not to impressed. His sheets haven't been changed even through he spilt coffee on them as well as other soiled areas, and has been there a week. Only one day did his bed get made. Trays are brought to room they did not offer him another option. The food taste was good, vegetables were not overcooked and serving size was appropriate. However he was only given milk at breakfast; even though he was told it would be given every meal. The food and coffee were serverd luke warm and I did not hear any aides ask if he needed anything else before leaving the room. They had a nice patio area, but the few chairs available were tattered and torn (one so bad I moved it to a area it could not be used) and there were no tables making it look bare and uncared for. Activities does not seem to have much to offer either about three activities a day. I would visit very often if you have a loved one stuck in this facility.

I'm a pharmacist working at Whidbey General Hospital in Coupeville and I wanted to share my experience as a healthcare provider reaching out to Regency Coupeville. It is procedural that we gather accurate medication records for patients admitted to our hospital for obvious reasons. I've called Regency Coupeville a number of times and sometimes I've had to leave several VM requesting our patients' medication administration records without success. However, I've had several encounters with a nurse named Peter and it has always gone above my expectations. Each time he answers the phone, he is polite, and faxes the information over right away. He even asks me to call him back each time to let him know that I've received it. He appears to care for his patients quite well and his prompt action helps us care for our patients at the hospital much better since delaying in getting the records could lead to delaying of appropriate care for our patients. Kudos to Peter and I'm glad he's part of that nursing team to care for the patients! I'm giving this place a 4 star only because I don't have other experiences and several times the voice messages I left were not tended to and I've had to call back later or the next day. I would give Peter a 5+++ star if I could! :)
