Moving into a new place is never easy. But so far Overlook at Lakemont apartments has not disappointed at all. Kristen, one of the leasing agents, has been an amazing help all along this process. Me and my partner are extremely grateful.
DO NOT live here. I am not sure where these good reviews are coming from…….must have been a promotional agreement to sign in my opinion. This complex’s office does a good job being personable til you move in. I am posting this review while still under lease because prospective tenants deserve transparency.
My experience with this complex and its leasing office has been deeply negative and consistently stressful. Communication from the office is poor; calls and concerns often go unanswered, and follow-up is rare. When I have raised issues, interactions with staff have felt dismissive and, at times, hostile.
Office staff have shared internal information that later proved to be inaccurate, including statements about an employee’s employment status. Sharing this type of information with residents is inappropriate and unprofessional.
Parking enforcement is inconsistent. I have been reprimanded for briefly stopping with hazard lights on to retrieve packages, while other vehicles occupy designated areas for extended periods without consequence. I have also experienced harassment from other tenants regarding parking in a space that I pay for. These incidents were reported, but I did not feel they were adequately addressed.
Noise from the unit above mine has been excessive and ongoing. The level of disturbance has caused items to fall from my walls, resulting in significant property damage, including a shattered urn containing my cat’s remains and 17 broken picture frames. I have documentation of this damage. Despite reporting these issues multiple times, no effective resolution was provided.
Overall, this property has failed to provide a safe, respectful, and reasonably managed living environment. Concerns are not handled with urgency, consistency, or care, leaving residents to manage serious issues on their own.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering this complex to thoroughly research other options before signing a lease.
Trust me, unless you want to hear every waking things your neighbors do, never find parking, have regenerate bins be .5 miles away from your home do not even waste your time going to this complex’s’ website.

Needed my microwave light replaced and Damian was able to get it done super quick and he’s always in great spirits when he comes. We always can count on him
I've had an amazing experience with my move in. Kristen has been extremely helpful, patient, accommodating with my needs, and has been very welcoming. A big thank you to Kristen and the rest of the staff!
My husband and I toured with leasing agent, Noemi, this weekend and we had such a pleasant experience. Having traveled from Lynwood, we were about 15-mins late for our appointment but Noemi still welcomed us with a warm smile and was able to show us the space. She shared details about the community, provided floor plans and pricing, encouraged us to apply without being pushy, and chatted with us. There was a family in the leasing office enjoying one of the holiday movies that was playing in the TV while indulging in some refreshments - this stood out to me because it signals that the leasing office is welcoming and people like where they live.
Having both being from California originally, Noemi and I connected on that commonality and chatted throughout the tour about similarities and differences between the SF market and Bellevue area.
The apartment homes were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! A lot of space for the price and aligned with other communities in the area I've toured. In my opinion Overlook has the best specials out of all the places I've toured. My husband and I will definitely be submitting an application for one of the units Noemi showed us.
