- BCbrandon cicciMay 15, 20221.0Where do I begin... They listed my apartment for $1300 a month on there own website, then told me it was $1400 after I put my deposit down. Luckily the previous tenant used the kitchen countertops as a cutting board so they dropped the rent back down to what it was originally listed at. I go to pay my firsts month rent before I get the keys, I moved in on the 17th, so my rent is prorated and this specific person in the office is incapable of basic math. Literally sends me an email with my prorated rent of $607 and an admin fee of $100, so her total was $1300. I pay the $707 after a little lesson and get the key only to discover my new apartment was previously inhabited by animals. The carpets were cleaned, but there was nasty looking stuff embedded into the carpet, there was trash around the exterior of every carpeted area as well. There was food particles and hair littered all throughout the apartment, fridge, kitchen area, blinds, and on the walls. The tp holder was essentially useless because there was no rod, and they left me with a broken toilet seat. It took a month to receive my mailbox key. You can only contact the office in the AM hours via phone because they don't answer in the afternoon or they close early.

Live on the third floor and have a very private balcony to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. The apartment is a little outdated but management (Stephanie) was very responsive when our washer/dryer needed replacing. Would recommend coming to see it before writing it off based on old reviews...
- SBStacey BoyerApr 2, 20195.0I liked it here so much I’ve lived here twice. The property manager (Stephanie De Moss) is helpful, engaging and efficient. The maintence head (Darko) is knowledgeable, punctual and expedient. It’s a quiet community with lots of nice mature trees to quiet the street noise below, and the loudest thing you’ll hear is a couple of high school football games, and they obviously aren’t late in the evening. Great neighbors, peaceful place to have as home. Definitely recommend. Mill Pond Apartments are a really good value. And as far as the reviews regarding unreturned cleaning deposits-I received one hundred percent of mine back. All of it. Then again, I cleaned it thoroughly and left it in the condition it was at move in. That’s how you get cleaning deposits back.
