They were 100% awful. Thin walls, I could hear you fart if you were above, below or on the side of us. The grass is pretty but the parking lots, awful. No where to walk. We were in the back area where we thought it was going to be quiet, however there was non stop partying, non stop yelling in the parking lot. Even had to call the cops a few times and everyone would run as soon as they got there. Don't expect your pet security deposit or the monthly pet rent to go towards damages that your pet did (even though everything single thing I looked up says it in fact DOES go for that, even on VA state laws for renters says it does). When you complain about tenants, management wants "proof" before they do anything about it. They will ask you to take pictures of tenants who violate the lease agreements. Dog poop everywhere but won't do anything about it until you send a picture of the dog pooping and the owner not picking it up. Maintainance was "okay"... but would complain about management everytime they would come in a do a job. Upon moving out, we were charged for "pet damages" even though we paid 400 security deposit as well as 25 a month for him. We were charged for the carpet in the hallway even though the air conditioner flooded the entire length of it. When it flooded we were told to use our carpet cleaner to get most of the water out and "if it starts to smell funny, let us know". The toilet above us overflowed and was coming through or VENT.. we were told "don't turn the vent on for a while, until it dries out and if it starts to smell, call us". Another example: roaches started to appear.. turns out the apartment next to us was infested with them and they had JUST rented it out, like she was moving in while the roaches were there (unbenouced to her) and did NOT SLEEP THERE ONE SINGLE NIGHT and these ppl made her get a lawyer because they wouldn't let her out of her agreement even though they knowingly leased her an infested apartment and it wasn't until AFTER she was finally let out of her lease that they even started bug control which took over a month to get rid of because at this point EVERY apartment in that building was getting them! Even though the lease states they do bug spraying.. I never witnessed a bug spray the 3 years we were there. One time I was on my way home from work and my other half unlocks the door for me prior to me getting there, on this particular day he unlocked the door and went to the bathroom, when he came out and went back into the living room a man was standing there.. quickly said "I must be in the wrong apartment" and walked out, he called to tell me. I reported this to the office and expalined I now feel unsafe and threatened and if they would like to look at our cameras they can,(we also made a police report). the response we got was "while this is disturbing, please keep your doors locked". Never sent out a email to residents about safety, nothing. These are just a handful of things that were experienced there. So, if you ask me, RUN.
