  DON’T MOVE IN!!!!!!! THEY BLOCKED MY REVIEWS BTW. DON’T EVER BELIEVE WHATS POSTED!!! Maintenance messed up the floors when I asked for a new stove and fridge cause it was infested with roaches. ALSO there are roaches, water bugs, and even fleas on the rugs!!!!! Still after months. FLEAS! Been here for 4 months. My indoor cat has fleas!!! So that means they never deep cleaned the apartment before we moved in!!! While the manager of the complex trying to tell me we don’t have anything. Then telling me to delete my reviews. Funny when they don’t let you know you move into filth. They still haven’t changed the air filter, which is making my electric bill higher. On top of that, they didn’t complete half the issues I reported when I first moved in. Very disappointing and unprofessional. On top of all this, they keep saying I can’t break the lease, even with these conditions. So I will keep updating every single thing up in here til my lease is up and I move out!!! I’ll let everyone know how it is in a few months. RIGHT NOW nothing changed. NEVER MOVE IN THIS COMPLEX!!!!!!

  This review is to express my concern and disappointment regarding the lack of communication following my application with Staples Mill Townhomes, which I submitted on September 15, 2025. It has now been almost 2 months since I applied, and I have not received any updates, phone calls, or email correspondence regarding the status of my application. I understand that the application review process can take time, however, the absence of any acknowledgment or follow-up is unprofessional and discouraging, especially given the effort and fees often involved in submitting an application. Please provide an update on the status of my application at your earliest convenience. If for any reason my application has been denied or delayed, I would appreciate a formal notice and an explanation.

  Overall, I can only speak for myself when I say this place has given me no complaints over the past year. The only downsides would really be the units not being able to hold cool air during the warmer months, especially upstairs. There were a few times where I’ve had to chase down a roach or spider as well (5 times to be exact), other than that, no complaints. Antonio was helpful throughout my whole lease here and always responded in a timely fashion during business hours. Would I lease her again? Yes. No complaints with my unit.

  Horrible living. Infestation of bugs and rodents. Can hear the rodents through the vents. Always random bugs just appearing out of nowhere no matter how clean you keep the crib.

  I’m not really sure even where to get started. Avoid this place at all costs if you can. We lived here for a little over 2 years and had countless issues. We resorted to paying two months rent in order to break our lease because this is no place to raise a child. A couple weeks after we moved in, our back patio area backed up with actual shit, everywhere. They came out and had maintenance snake the access and they left all the pieces of toilet paper and shit and didn’t clean anything up. This patio area then backed up several other times to the point where we had to beg them to send a plumber over. They uninstalled our AC unit and dug up our concrete patio and ran new sewer lines eventually but having to live with shit constantly backing up on the patio was awesome. This went on for months. We also had our tub leak within a few months of living here and destroy the ceiling downstairs. They fixed the leak and just replaced the drywall. No remediation for any mold/mildew that could’ve grown on the studs. The apartments will constantly smell like weed because of neighbors and it seems to come in the dryer vent. Our dryer constantly smelled like weed so our fresh clean clothes smelled like weed, including our year old son’s clothes. We had a roof leak get onto the ceiling upstairs and all they did was paint over the stain. There isn’t enough parking for everyone who lives here. The blank spots are constantly all taken. I’ve had to drive around for 45 minutes after work to wait for a spot to open up. The pool is constantly closed during the summer time for “maintenance”. I think it was closed for more days than it was open. The apartments are infested with roaches. All they do is send pest control maybe twice a year. They basically just put sticky traps in the kitchen and call it good so it never gets taken care of. The office had the nerve to force us to do a walkthrough with management because they flagged our apartment for not removing the bugs from the sticky traps. We also had lizards get into our apartment under the wall by the back patio. Gross. The office staff have got to be the laziest people of all time. We constantly would call 6 or 7 times without getting an answer and then when they would answer and you told them how many times you had tried to call, they would act like they had no idea what you were talking about. Getting them to just simply do their jobs is like pulling teeth. You’re better off going in person to the office to get anything done.
