Avoid this apartment complex. This was by far the worst place I have ever lived. From the day I moved in, I dealt with one issue after another: no hot water during winter, broken cabinets and doors, repeated AC and heater failures, and a dryer that never worked properly. Even after multiple complaints, management failed to fix the root causes, including clogged dryer vents that they ignored after I specifically raised the issue. To make matters worse, there were nails sticking out of the floor in several places, creating a serious safety hazard. The final insult came after I moved out before my due date and returned my key to the property management office, I received an email threatening daily charges if they did not receive my key. This place was poorly maintained, stressful to live in, and handled unprofessionally. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Hello All! I have lived at Foxchase/Brandywine since 2017 and I have experienced nothing but amazing service all around. The ladies in the rental office (Sye Walley, Victoria Amory & Ariana) have been SUPERB!!! From maintenance issues, to questions, to financial, they have supported me along the way. Now that I’m purchasing a home, I have to leave and I’m sad. I will miss this apartment complex. Thank you to GSC also for being a great company. Until next time. God Bless!

I’ve lived at Foxchase for a while now, and honestly, this place is a nightmare. I don’t even know where to start because there are problems everywhere, from the buildings themselves to the management and everything in between. Let’s start with the townhomes. They are extremely old. Sure, management likes to say they are “renovated,” but that just means someone slapped on a coat of paint, maybe threw in some “new” appliances, and called it a day. The windows are basically from the 1970s, completely uninsulated, and drafty. It feels like they just patched things enough to rent them out again. Even little details are poorly thought out — the laundry closet, for example, has sliding closet-style doors. That makes no sense at all. You have to move wet clothes around just to put them in the dryer. It’s inconvenient and lazy design. On top of that, there’s a bright light right outside my window that attracts every bug imaginable. One of my neighbors also smokes constantly right outside her front door. The smoke seeps into my apartment, and management does nothing about it. Now let’s talk noise, because the walls are paper thin. I can hear everything my neighbors do — walking, going up and down stairs, TVs, music, talking, everything. Management sends emails about noise, but enforcement is nonexistent. Kids run around unsupervised, wrestling, screaming, and even throwing snowballs at cars. Loud music blasts from somewhere on the property almost every day. If you value your sleep or peace of mind, forget it — you’ll never get it here. Even smells invade your apartment. One of my neighbors cooks extremely aromatic food, and it fills my apartment. I get that people should be able to cook what they want in their home, but it’s absurd that it’s drifting through the building. Rules exist, but they’re never enforced. Grills on back patios are supposedly prohibited, yet one neighbor literally leaves trash bags and open containers of meat outside for weeks with no action taken. People constantly yell outside at all hours, and it seems like nobody here understands what it means to live in a shared community. There’s no accountability. The management and maintenance are the absolute worst. During the recent winter storm, they sent an email saying it wasn’t their responsibility to clear snow or maintain the property, citing the lease. This is completely unacceptable. Some residents were stuck in their homes for over a week until management “tried” to do something. Imagine being unable to leave your home, or even worse, being late on rent because the property isn’t maintained and management doesn’t care. This is not just inconvenient — it’s irresponsible and dangerous. Even small problems feel ignored forever. If something breaks, it’s either “we’ll get to it eventually” or you have to constantly call, email, and fight to get even minor issues fixed. There is no sense of urgency or care for residents’ wellbeing. Overall, Foxchase is old, mismanaged, noisy, and frustrating in every possible way. The apartments are poorly maintained, the rules aren’t enforced, neighbors are inconsiderate, and management has no sense of responsibility or urgency. I can’t stress enough: if you care about peace, safety, or just basic common sense living, stay far away. I thought long and hard before posting this, but I feel anyone considering this place needs to know exactly what they’re getting into. Living here is stressful, inconvenient, and completely avoidable.
