The handling of a serious maintenance issue — a squirrel trapped in the attic — has shown a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and effective communication. Despite repeated outreach and clear urgency, responses were delayed, dismissive, and often confusing. Michele Joseph in particular demonstrated carelessness and disrespect, which is a poor reflection on an organization responsible for managing an entire community. Rather than providing clear direction or timely updates, communication was inconsistent and left both myself and my landlord without answers. This is not only frustrating but also unacceptable for a company of this size. Tenants and homeowners should not have to fight for basic communication and timely service when their homes are directly affected. The lack of accountability and empathy in resolving this matter reflects poorly on Associa’s ability to effectively manage the properties entrusted to them.
