When are you going to fix the treadmill? It's been out of service for months, and we pay monthly rent. We're supposed to be paying for these services. Another suggestion: there should be at least two treadmills because one isn't enough for the hundreds of people who rent here. This gym is lacking in many areas. Excuse my language, but just as you're quick to collect rent, you should be quick to provide the services. Fix gym please

No son capaces de limpiar las entradas de los apartamentos ni el estacionamiento. Saben que nevará y no se preocupan por nosotros los residentes. Si nos caemos o el carro le pasa algo. Tanto pagar par nada.

if i could give it 0 start i would. property manager is very rude and doesn't help with issues at all when they come to him. he has a very smart and sarcastic tone.
downstairs neighbors smoked in their apartment EVERYDAY and it came through the vents into my apartment. complained about it multiple times and was told they would get violations on their lease and did not. imagine not smoking and you have to come home everyday to the smell of cigarettes.
my apartment was very clean 24/7. dishes washed, food put up and stored, floors always swept and vacuumed and a month before i moved out, a roach crawled from under the fridge and i was told it could've came from my neighbors apartment. i never had to experience roaches before, so that absolutely disgusted me.
neighbors pop fireworks during EVERY holiday, even ones that dont require fireworks. they popped some for new years and the trash cans caught on fire (plastic rolling bins) and the fire department had to come put out the fire.
the carpets are poorly installed so you see bubbles from the carpet lifting up.
doors slam 24/7 from neighbors because they're heavy almost knocking my mounted tv off the wall.
the mail is horrible here. you dont need a mailbox key because if you pull the top of the mailboxes back, you can access each mailbox and take whatever you want.
people get drunk around the community and leave their beer bottles on top of the stairs instead of throwing them away.
plumbing issues are horrible. doesnt make any sense that when i flush my toilet, i see brown/black water.
washing machines are horrible and get stuck with one piece of clothing in them. there were times i washed my clothes and the washer got stuck and when i called maintenance, i was told that theres a third party company that comes out and work on appliances and that i would have to wait days. meaning that the laundry either sat in the washing machine soaked or i rung each piece out in a bucket then put in the dryer.
i stayed only a year and wanted to break my lease so many times, but didnt because i didnt want my credit affected. please do yourself a favor and take this review into STRONG consideration and rent somewhere else. the price you will pay for a 1 bed 1 bath, you can pay elsewhere thats considered REAL luxury and get way more than what you would get here (which is what i did.)

Clarissa was very kind and was a huge help with the moving process and everything went smoothly in the beginning and we thank HER for all she do for us however this one star is for how we’ve been treated unfairly by the owners especially when we move out. We don’t normally give bad reviews but in this case we had no choice and If we could give zero stars we would because we can’t believe we’ve been blindsided with everything anyway my husband and I moved in and there was lots of issues going on like plumbing problems, nails was coming up out the floor, blinds wasn’t working, part of the porch railing was falling apart, the side door net was broken our baby fell through it and could have gotten hurt, in between the windows and doors was dirty (we clean it without complaining to them),hot water was on/off and to top it off we didn’t get a brand new carpet when we moved in yet still we didn’t make a big fuss we just work through some of the issues and move away unsafe things from our baby .Also on our lease we never missed a payment to them and they want to make false accusations about damages .Ok moving on to the moving out date which was November 17 and we made sure we clean everything and deep clean the carpets however the mistake we made was we forgot to take pictures nevertheless we left it just like how we got it but little do you know is that these people sent a bill of 7 hundred and something dollars to us saying we damaged carpet. We said show where we damaged carpet, they sent pictures of two little stains & 4 sofa marks and you can easily get rid of those so they really looking for something to justify their stupid actions ( I insert pictures below) so now they want us to pay for an entire carpet including the two bedrooms and no damages are detected in the bedrooms either so we been unfairly charged for two little stains which i vividly remember those weren’t there when we left (we don’t even wear shoes on the carpet the little time we been there) so we tackled them about it now their saying the apartment have a 5 year life span and they changed carpet every 5 years for new tenant But mind you we only stayed there for less than a year so (Make it make sense) Also they took our deposit without even acknowledging us and then offer us a discount on the carpet bill ,oh and to make matters worse they (threatened) to take to court and put us on collections WHAT????this is some BS . Within our time living in RVA we never had a issue like this with previous apartments owners so we are very confused and angry about this. Another thing WHAT I DON’T LIKE IS PEOPLE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF US AND TRYING TO SCAM US INTO PAYING FOR DAMAGES THAT WE DIDN’T DO AND AGAIN THEY ONLY SHOWING 2 LITTLE STAINS AND 4 SOFA MARKS THAT CAN EASILY BE REMOVED AT THAT , WE DONT SEE NO DAMAGE TO WHERE WE HAVE TO PAY THAT CRAZY BILL SO THIS IS NOT RIGHT. With that being said we will never live here again nor recommend chesterfield village apartments to anyone because they don’t care about nothing nor their tenants NEEDS only money .

I could actually share many many stories or should I say instances or occurrences that has happened while living at Chesterfield Village, Apartments in North Chesterfield, Virginia, one instance is where my floor practically cave in to downstairs. They only fix that when I threatened to take it to social media another instance is when the stairs coming up to my apartment and the patio was so rickety you can see them and hear them move. It took them a while to fix that. The other thing is that when I have to walk down the pathway to come to my house there is such a sink hole in the pathway that our shoes always get soaking wet and now this instance, I have been begging for these people to fix my dryer for months they come in and say nothing’s wrong with the dryer. It’s the vent in the wall, well that means that they have me living in a fire hazard on top of me living in a fire hazard. I cannot do my laundry and I pay for this service because we pay for our machines every month. Nothing has been done about this. I’ve been complaining about this since months ago. I remember one day I was late with my rent and it was the very last day I had to pay my rent with the late fee without getting charged by the court. I made it to the office at 12:02 PM and they said they could not take my payment because it was after 12 well time and time again do I call maintenance and I have to wait and they could not be considerate as I stood there and cried because I knew now I would have to pay an extra 300 and change, but that’s neither here or there point being I live in a community that does not care about the upkeep of people‘s apartments that have been here for a while. They add onto the rent and don’t do anything about anything that needs to be fixed. The windows are as thin as paper And I can keep on going for hours. I would say the only reason that I am still here is because I’ve been here for a while and the rent outside of this place is much higher so I guess I get what I pay for but that still does not make the fact that they do not care correct. I would not advise a dog to live here.
