Roaches. Dismal move-in conditions -- non-working appliances, rotting front door, missing bathroom door, non-functional and waste-encrusted toilet. And did I mention the roaches? I have a picture of the toilet, but I'll spare you

So many different things wrong with this place. Roaches all the time, no matter how clean the apartment is and in spite of paying for my own preventative measures. GSC has the audacity to charge monthly for pest control when they call once a year and if you miss the call they never come. Almost every part of the unit is dilapidated and crumbling. Kitchen floor is sinking in, two separate leaks from above unit causing bathroom ceiling to collapse both times, a large piece of the patio door broke off, the molding is physically separating from every wall on one side of the apartment, the heat went out for a week in the middle of January, and these are only the major things worth mentioning. No amount of maintenance is sufficient, units need complete renovation. Overbearing and predatory policies. Did nothing to clear snow or ice from sidewalks or parking lot, but were out at midnight February 1st towing people with expired parking passes who are all residents. Sporadically prohibit having certain things on the patio like grills and "indoor furniture". The leasing office and maintenance staff have been professional and seem to try their best. GSC is to blame for continuing to lease out what they know are atrocious units and leaving staff to make up for it. This place offers the most space you can get for the least money and its for these reasons. You will be happier in a smaller unit that isn't falling apart.

The ladies in the office are lovely but everything else is atrocious. My apartment’s insulation is so bad that I regularly spend several hundred dollars on electricity yet we still can’t get the temperature above 50 some days — not to mention the water damaged ceiling/walls, the paint literally falling off the walls, the pest issues, and so much more. For the recent snow storm, they did no prep and the sidewalks have been encrusted with ice for days. My partner fell and hit their head yesterday. If you can afford better, do not live here.
