  As a property manager myself I did not feel welcomed when I walked in this afternoon. I called 5 times today no answer. I arrived and was greeted by a male I asked did they have any availability to tour today he said no. Didn’t see if I was free to come another day or ask what I was interested in. I asked all the questions I had in concern but it felt like I was bothering the leasing agent. Also when asking about pricing he stated the pricing and the income guide online aren’t correct. As a property manager some things could be worked on especially when trying to lease an apartment.

  The gates don’t work any more. The parking spots are poorly marked there’s trash all over the parking lot. There are countless cars throughout the complex that either don’t run or have expired tags or registration or both taking up the limited spots that are available.

  I've been here for over 10 years and I've seen new management often. The individuals in place now are top tier. From me applying to different jobs (extremely helpful assistance with the computer and documentation) to resolving issues within the property. Im proud to say Meridian is my home. Thank you guys. P.S. can't forget the team in Norfolk. Bravo you all

  Very nice and quiet neighborhood to live in. Neighbors are very nice absolutely no complaints. However, when it comes to the management I’ll have to give them a 0/10. They would open whenever they want and they never answer the phones. I’m a working woman so I rely on making a phone call because sometimes I can’t make it in there in person. Several instances I’ve had to email them and they wouldn’t respond back until the end of day or sometimes the very next day. Also, this is supposed to be a gated community and yet the gates were never closed in the 2 years I’ve lived there. Trash compactor is always full with trash overflowing on the the sidewalks. Property manager Sonya Barboza is by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful manager I’ve even come encounter with. She acts as though she knows me personally and that I’ve done something to her. Yesterday, on my move out date I went to the office to hand and my keys and to do a walk through. When I got to the door there was a sign saying they were on lunch and that they would return at 2:15pm. I sat in front of the office waiting for them to come back. Around 2:13pm I begin seeing them come back from lunch. I waited until 2:16pm to walk back over to the door to see yet another sign saying they would be back at 2:30pm. When I finally get a chance to speak to someone I am yet again disappointed by their response. All in all I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move here, you will be highly upset when it comes to the management and staff. Regardless if you pay your rent on time or if you are late management shouldn’t treat people like this. You have no idea what people are going through in life, I’ve never been treated like this before by a leasing office. I wish everyone that are moving in and those who are still there the best of luck when it comes to that rude and disrespectful staff.
