  The maintenance technician replaced my fluorescent light, but leaned the old bulbs against the countertop near my refrigerator. The bulbs fell and shattered, spreading glass and fluorescent residue across my kitchen floor and into the air. I am still finding glass fragments. Because fluorescent bulbs contain hazardous materials, this created a safety concern that required additional cleanup on my end. While the light is functioning, the handling of the bulbs was careless and created unnecessary risk inside my home.

  The apartments are very nice and well-maintained. However, my experience with the manager, Sonya Barboza, was very disappointing. I found her to be unprofessional, rude, and dismissive in our interactions. Management plays a huge role in a resident’s overall experience, and unfortunately, this negatively impacted mine. I believe Capreit should address this, as it reflects poorly on the company as a whole. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending this property to others.

  Something needs to be done about all the trash around the property. I don’t see how maintenance can’t spend an hour a day riding around picking up trash. Anytime I see them they are goofing around in the garage laughing and doing nothing. The amount of abandoned and unused/unusable (flat tires, busted out windows) vehicles in the parking lot is a disgrace. Walking around the community feels like living next to a dump can’t step 5 feet without seeing a nice empty weed tube or baggy, pop bottle, bag of trash sits by the dumpster for days sometimes weeks. Someone needs to do something with the maintenance dept. Edit: I contacted the email the owner responded with before leaving the review. It went unanswered. They beg for google reviews via their maintenance staff.
