There are roaches and the plumbing is horrendous. The dishwasher doesn’t drain so makes it useless. The sink in the bathroom and kitchen leaks. The lock didn’t work when I first moved in. I called them one time when some other tenant used his key to unlock my door and they didn’t do anything about it for 2 weeks, and that’s bc I stormed into their office. It was a rough neighborhood so I worried about my safety, cause some random guy opened up my door. It wasn’t just once but twice. I also had a random lady knock on my door late at night. I went to the office and asked them face to face. You’ll get no responses if you call them. I paid my rent on time except for one month(December) and they threatened me with eviction even though I paid on time every month but one. The pictures on the website looks nothing like the real place. It’s a real craphole and the landlord looks fed up if you approach them with any issues.

So my lease end 08/31 I went inside the office Because a friend had told me even though your least is up you have give a 60 notice to vacate the property .So that’s exactly what I I did I was told I have to wait 60 more days and my rent would go up to 1307 because I didn’t give proper notice .They claim they sent a renewal by putting it on rubber band attaching to door knob I ask that doesn’t ensure it was received why was their no follow smh I could renew my lease and my rent would go from 790 to 837 below market rent it’s better if I stayed I told them those aren’t option I will be gone by October 1 I’m not going continue to pay if they still have to renovate then find some tenants lord know the length of time that would take

I would not recommend this property. I lived upstairs and from the time I moved I there were homeless people sleeping in the hallways. I would wake up to vomit and feces in the hallways on a regular basis. I took pictures numerous times and had to continue to ask management to clean the hallways which smelled horrible. I notified the police on several occasions and management. I even asked management if I could place a no trespassing sign on the door and I was not allowed. The was in constant communication with the manager Sophia who said they were looking to place locks on the doors but could not give a time period. I said I understood because it is a process, therefore when it came time to renew my lease I was not going to because I did not like the conditions. When I went to the office the desk clerk told me the locks were in and they were trying to decide which building to begin the installation. I was also told security had been hired and a housekeeper. I then renewed my lease because the problem would be fixed. 3 months in and nothing. I began emailing the manager and she would not respond. I gave notice and u understood I was breaking my lease but I was not staying there anyway because I was too afraid. The week that I gave notice locks were installed yet I had already secured other housing. I have sense received my final statement and have been charged with damages for the moving van being on the grass. I asked for pictures of the damages meaning tracks in the grass or whatever repairs needed to be done. I was sent another picture of the van parked but mo damages. I asked why was I charged when I know the neighbors surrounding me did the same but they are still in the units and never received any invoices. Management literally went in the rain to take pics. I wish they had taken that much initiative with the locks and hallways. I was also, charged me for a urine stain for a 4lb yorkie which I understand, but they charged me to replace the entire carpet. I was only there 15 months and paid a non refundable pet deposit which would have covered the cleaning. I have a paper trail and pictures of everything. If you can avoid living there I would definitely suggest you not.

I lived here years ago and its a wonderful place. Very comfortable not a lot of crime close to everything.
