They when asked for return of deposit was told i would have to wait for paper check. "we paid we credit card" 2 week later and still no refund of deposit..

After going inside the building to talk to a consultant the people in the room just stared at us till we asked for help. Then one of the associates after telling them what we want to pay monthly (based off of what we pay now for the house we own). basically told us that we couldn’t afford anything on their lot and he had nothing to show us. Told us the house we wanted was way over what the price is online and there was no way we could get a loan even with good credit to proceed. He said to get the price we wanted we would have to put a down payment of $100,000 down on the house that he claims is 300,000 which is way more than 20%down. He basically stonewalled us the whole conversation (we were only there for barley 3 mins). When we asked if we could just look at it anyway he told us it’s under construction so he was unable. Mind you we went and looked through the window before going in and it looked perfectly fine. We are homeowners currently selling because we have land we want to build on. So we know prices, loan processes, and payment plans everything he told us doesn’t add up. We drove an hour out to get treated like this, we will not be going back.
