  We have lived at woodland park apartments for about 2 years. But I’ve never had any bad encounters with any of the staff/management until today. Gemma Bruce was extremely rude, seemed annoyed, and not helpful, and was a very unpleasant experience with her. We went into the leasing office to sign a paper about not renewing our lease as directed by staff on the phone the previous day. When we walked in the door she was on the phone with a customer, I could see 2 other workers in the office behind her and they made direct eye contact with us multiple times but never came out to greet us or ask us if we need any help. Gemma gets off the phone and asks us what we need and we tell her. We let her know we aren’t resigning again and she lets us know since we didn’t give 60 days notice to vacant that we will have to pay rent until January and all that. She lets us know what our steps are and that she will send us the paper to sign. She had a bit of an attitude during this interaction. We leave and are waiting to see the email come through. It’s been about 20ish minutes and still no email. Due to the circumstances and that this is a important document that we need to sign ASAP I call the leasing apartment. Gemma picks up the phone and I tell her yes we spoke earlier and I’m still waiting on the email to sign for not renewing our lease. She gives so much attitude and annoyance in her voice to me and let’s me know that multiple people walked in the door after us and she had to help them first and she “didn’t have time to send that email right after we walked out the door” as she was dealing with other tasks and people first. I felt like all the comments she was making was unnecessary and she could of just left it at I didn’t forget and apologize that they got busy and she will send the email soon. Very unpleasant experience with her and confirms why we are happy to leave this apartment complex.

  Woodland Park Apartments in Herndon, VA is a beautiful and peaceful community with well-maintained grounds and modern amenities. The location is excellent—close to shops, parks, and public transport. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to live.

  This community is well cared for and the staff are attentive and helpful. Isaiah was very knowledgeable about the property and hands-on to assure units were tour and move-in ready. Easy process and decision. Looking forward to my time here.

  Me and my girlfriend just moved here a week ago and we love it. Jada at the leasing office was very helpful during our move in process and the maintenance man favid sardi who came by to fix our dryer was very helpful as well they both deserve a raise.

  Fraud and worst management. 1)We lived there for almost 1 and half years. And we had very bad experience with customer support and management. 2) Plz be aware of this Woodland Park management team. Those Woodland park management are having lot of issues and not resolved as per customer complaints. They are just trying to escalate always instead of resolved. 3) As you know, they have high rented apartments but service and management are worse than what they are charging. Once you singed up the lease, your hidden charges are started. They are taking money from the tenants for various different undefined and unnecessary reasons and told us this is their policy. 😡 as they can’t provide a basic quality to the residence. 3) There are many security issues around the premises as well , lot of things, criminals activities are happening and robbery from the premises is happening. It starts from kids bikes to the expensive cars parts, cars tire and Amazon packages , any kind of parcels, food parcels, grocery bags are stolen from the premises and apartments. Some cars windows broke and hit by someone even though they are properly parked in the woodland park parking with stickers on it. Worst part of all that those woodland park management never take any responsibility for any of these issues or residents concerns and safety. They are only behind money. It’s not safe to live there. 4) There are always pests issues also there even though Woodland park has done pest control. Big red ants and insects, animals are everywhere in the apartment which you have to deal with. I’m sharing a picture. Not recommended at all.
