  Madison went out of her way and stayed later to help me. She was super nice and accommodating and made this a very warm and comfortable experience. Folake also chimed in when i asked her opinion on some places and that was extremely helpful. I submitted an application and will hopefully get approved! Thank you both Madison and Folake!

  This whole situation is frustrating. Maker Rise has potential but the management is terrible - and Folake Amosu isn't helping. The property's falling apart, requests go ignored, and she's deceptive on top of it all. I don't know what's worse: the building issues or dealing with someone who won't be straight with me. The combination of a poorly run property and dishonest management makes living here exhausting. Both Maker Rise and Folake need to do better.

  I'm going to keep my review straight forward. CONS: - Fire alarms go off for almost no reason so they lose all sense of urgency and they occur really often. - Apartments Flooding. - Internet Outages occur at a moderate rate so remote work is a pain. - You can hear everything since walls are paper thin. - I too have experienced snarky/rudeness from the front staff, however the maintenance staff are very kind and helpful. - Appliances aren't nice for the $$ you spend. - Trash system is terrible. PROS: - Maintenance staff are awesome. - The apartment looks aesthetically pleasing. - Apartment offers convenience for being next to everything. - They have their own app, which is pretty cool and neat. Quite useful actually. - Safe Area I tried my best to craft PROS despite the CONS are so heavy, this is my first Virginia apartment as I'm originally from Florida, but this has been the worst apartment I've ever lived at.
