  The worst place for the students in Harrisonburg. They nickel and dime you for their worn-out appointments and it’s a major ripoff for their utility bills. After the lease was ended a couple of months later we got a bill for more utilities!!! Thinking of your children and your own sanity, find a better place.

  When I had moved in to the apartment it was very different than the pictures I had seen. My friend who lives right across from me got a brand new looking apartment meanwhile mine had clearly seen far better days including bugs. I got put with a random man who did not attend JMU, smoked inside constantly, stole food from us, threatened us, and was clearly mentally ill. At first the guy was chill and we all respected each other, and that's when I had signed the renewal of my lease for the 26-27 year. However, as time went on he became worse and worse, despite our best efforts to try and create peace with him he denied any change and continued his behavior. He was eventually evicted and then broke back into the place living here for around two weeks while the rest of us where on winter break. We returned to our apartment trashed and another roommate had his room broken into. Now fearing for my safety I have tried to voice my concern to management to cancel the renewal of the lease. However they caught me and either way will have to dish out extra money to try and be in a safer position. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE TO LIVE HERE. The low cost and location seem appealing but with the crap I've had to deal with, I should have lived elsewhere and not been as foolish. The maintenance team is the only good thing about this place as they generally get stuff done quickly and said they did insect extermination however I still see bugs sometimes here in February.

  Not a great place, definitely avoid. Floor had paint splotches everywhere and management claimed they didn't see it in their many pre move in walk throughs. They did see the slashed up couch cushion and placed a cheap cover over it. Unfortunately they couldn't do it for the chair, as it has knife slashes all over it. My roommates room stunk of cat piss upon move in, several outlets don't work. Terrible job plowing and shoveling. A lot of hidden monthly fees to make up for the cheaper rent. Convenient location and bus stops, okay gym and pool, but it doesn't make up for the many problems. You get what you pay for, be smart and pay for something else.

  Shoutout to the maintenance team for being absolutely awesome. Over the past 2.5 years I’ve lived here, they’ve always been responsive and on top of everything. They even helped shovel the snow away from my car so I wouldn’t miss class. Truly grateful for all they do!
