Overall, happy with my apartment experience. Like in any complex, I wish there were some changes (such as allowing delivery drivers to access the secure package locker area 24/7... especially since residents pay a monthly fee to use lockers and packages get left in the breezeway after hours), routine maintenance of hallways, walls, and common areas (white paint and light gray carpet get dingy easily!), and better plowing/ parking lot snow control. Wish there were more resident events and giveaways. College students love free stuff (food, grab and go snacks 24/7)! Overall, a good place to live in a location getting more restaurants and development!

Personally, I absolutely hate this place. Nice interior, terrible Management team. People have frequently made noise complaints against us when my roommates and myself genuinely made zero noise. I believe this is due to people just “guessing” where the noise is coming from and mistakenly blaming my apartment unit, but STILL. Unfair. What does Management do about that? Oh, threatens to evict us and enforce a fine. That’s right. Again, unfair. Additionally, the walls are thin, the hallways are always trashed, and the windows don’t open (which was never mentioned when reviewing the pros/cons of the place). Parking sucks, maintenance never fixes anything to a proper degree, I mean truly the list goes on and on. It’s a “fake boujee” place through and through.

This is not a good place to live. I’m a disabled Marine Corps veteran that lived here for two years and when I moved out I got charged 2600. My 1 bedroom apartment was not dirty in any regard when I moved out, I had lived there for two years with a dog. Obviously the carpet is going to need to be ripped up that’s pretty standard for any apartment anywhere with a resident living there for x amount of years, especially with pets. They charged me for everything under the sun, the carpet was only a few hundred dollars. I ended up getting charged 2600 upon move out. There was always dog crap everywhere, sometimes even in the doorways and the halls. The apartment gym SUCKS. They consistently change their lock systems and there has been times when I’ve been locked out for over an hour just because the different systems they use have had problems. The walls are super thin and you essentially have no privacy, sure the apartments look nice, but would you rather live in a place that looks good from the outside and then have a miserable experience? Or would you rather live somewhere else and pay less for a MUCH better experience and management. Do not live here, people fall for the trap that because it’s more expensive than other places it just MUST be better, it’s not.

**Long but...if you care for information... I've only been here a couple of months so my review is tbd until I see how we get through the seasons. (Which is also why I dislike that renewal starts so early). I saw an honest review that was pretty spot on. The apartments are at first glance nice, the rooms, closet, and bathroom are a great size. It has a washer/dryer and separate ac/heating units (more on this later). I appreciate that the room doors lock because sometimes my roommates dont lock the door and just because I have insurance doesn't mean I want to use it. Parking has been fine. I have an odd schedule so paying for the parking along the perimeter of the building with no assigned spot isn't worth the $40/mo because sometimes there aren't spots when I get home. There's a small gym on the first floor, a coffee machine with good creamer, you share a mailbox with your roommates so I hope you trust them or dont get important mail or know when something is coming. The building is on a hill so access to the delivery lockers for packages is on one side of the building. I would track my packages also bc if it's big or there's a lot of mail it might not get into a locker. Now, on closer inspection all of the low budget decisions become more and more evident the longer you live here, so take good pictures when you move in bc something will break, lift, scratch. The trash room and hallway can get trashy on occasion but I blame that more on kids who never had to clean up after themselves not the complex. To be fair, they get cleaned up in good time. Shout out to the kid who does the trash room bc I dont know why people dont just put their bags down the chute. They sent many messages about recycle but I honestly still dont understand where it goes, the place I think they tell us to put it in has a bin that doesn't open. Sometimes the control of my room temp seems like a good illusion but I have learned how to make it work for me. I've been having pretty bad allergies that I'm pretty sure have to do with this rug that was not deep cleaned after the last residents (it has sticky spots). If fresh air is important to you, please know the windows dont open in Altitude 1, bring an air purifier, the fan on the AC unit is also an illusion. I wish I had known this one before I moved in. Only recently have I started hearing the elephants that live upstairs, it's pretty quiet here. I have had trouble with my key fob opening outside doors but they offered to replace it I just havent been able to make office hours yet. I'll be back with an update at the end of the semester when people start moving out. I'm staying another year bc of proximity to work but I wish I could afford to move to a place with windows that open.

Just a good spot to live, with there being a lot of place to go and do near by.
