COPPER BEECH EDITED THEIR RESPONSE. THIS WAS NOT THEIR ORIGINAL RESPONSE. it is MUCH nicer than the one I got.
I used to love this place, but not anymore. My closet has collapsed three times, and I am continuously blamed and offered no help or other suggestions. You are expected to pay $900 in rent, but cannot use your closet for its intended purpose. I understand that the first time I put too much stuff on top, so I made SURE not to do the same mistake twice, and yet my closet collapsed two more times with less and less stuff in it each time. When I tried to speak to someone, I unfortunately was connected with Abby, who cut me off, told me I was the problem, and said I should try "folding my clothes." You will always be at fault, no matter how tiny or ridiculous the issue. So, if you were hoping to utilize some of your closet space in your already incredibly tiny room, good luck! Would you like to hang your winter coat in your closet because, oh, I don't know, it's winter? Too heavy!!! It's your fault for hanging it in your closet, which was meant for clothes. I know this is a long review, but no one over at Copper Beech will listen, so if I have to get your attention this way, I will. Do better.
My response to your kind comment:
I'm so glad you mentioned the maintenance request. If you had actually talked to Abby, Abby made that maintenance request without my knowledge. I did not ask for that request. So, I asked them to leave.
Would you like it if someone showed up at your house whom you did not want there?
There needs to be a dialogue. That is the issue here. Not the closet breaking for the third time.
Thank you for putting a resident who lives here and pays you rent on blast for being unhappy with their services.
Every comment I made in that post has been said to me by someone who works at Copper. So, if you think it sounds dramatic, I did too! Again, I am trying to emphasize here that I am not being heard, which you reinforced by mocking me and struggling to come up with any other alternative.
Thank you for your empathy and understanding of your residents. I see Copper's reputation is the only thing that matters here. I will take this up with someone who cares.
To every potential parent/student reading this:
Copper beech edited their response. This is NOT how copper beech initially responded. It sounds much nicer and much more professional than their original post... very convenient.
Sorry to put this all in one review, but Google does not let me comment on the businesses' reviews.
