  I would give zero stars if I could, this company is absolutely trash, there customer service is horrible, there lending company sucks, please do not buy anything from these people, there lending company builder’s use the cheapest materials and charge top dollar, I’ve owned for 1 year now and it’s been nothing but problems from the beginning, biggest mistake I ever made

  Just to start off. We’re about 22-23 months in to a process that was promised in 2 months haha. So not only 4or5 hard inquiries to my credit but a numerous amount lies from the whole team. Not only have we gone from renting to being homeless because they have promised after one process it would be a week or after the next it would be a few days it’s been bull crap, stress, and nothing but wishing I could of never done this or at least not gone with Clayton’s home this whole experience has not had a toll on me but my whole family. Still to this day not moved and my house has been sitting on my property for over 3 months now. On top of that I have to pay a mortgage to a home that I am not even aloud in. Would definitely not recommend. take you and your family somewhere else because this is all about lies specially after you sign your loan. Ohhhhh and they definitely do not communicate at all after you’ve signed that agreement.

  Two stars is generous, but i must give credit where it is due. They’re great at selling homes, but that’s where it ends. Take nothing Scott says at face value and use your own contractors — theirs charge high rates for poor quality. After nearly 18 months of delays, broken promises, and wasted money, this experience was nothing but stress and disappointment. I’d encourage anyone considering this company to proceed carefully and do their homework.

  Scott and his team are stellar at customer service! We are always greeted with smiles when we enter the building. Everyone there is knowledgeable and willing to assist with showing the homes and answering any questions we may have. We will continue to recommend Clayton Homes of Harrisonburg!
