  Olivia & Kennedy in the office have the friendliest, most welcoming personalities. Kennedy’s wonderful over the phone customer service persuaded us to tour the apartments, & Olivia’s helpfulness in taking the time to answer all of our questions persuaded us to sign a lease within hours of our tour. In the months that we have lived here, their friendliness & helpfulness has never changed, showing that they weren’t just trying to persuade us to sign a lease. They’re genuinely great people! The entire maintenance staff has also been amazing. They come within 24 business hours even if it’s not an urgent matter. They are always respectful in our apartment whether we are home or not. Darryl Smith has fixed some things for us multiple times, and he is very personable and takes the time to explain what the problem is and how he plans to fix it. Our only complaint with anything is the trash compactor occasionally getting jammed when people put things in it incorrectly, but when trash gets piled up, maintenance never lets it sit out for long before everything is fixed. We love the area, we love the apartment complex, & we love our apartment, but the staff here is what has persuaded us to extend our lease!

  I lived there about 10 years ago. I religious paid rent in time. The management called me and said I was late with my rent. I raised my voice over the phone to tell them I paid and was NEVER LATE! MY CREDIT SCORE TODAY IS STILL OVER 800! IT WAS THEN THAT THEY CAME CLEAN, AND SAID SOMEBODY STOLE THEIR CHECK DEPOSIT BOX! WHY THE DECEPTION AND DULPICITY? In another instance they put a family with a kid who jumped from the sofa on my ceiling..I get up with my broom and bang on my ceiling to let them know I don't appreciate it. The management calls me up to say I'm disturbing them, like I was just sitting on my sofa and decided to bother the family above me unprovoked. I was only responding to their kid jumping off the sofa on my ceiling. They also had a guy playing music next door at 6:00am with his subbase woofers going and I am trying to sleep. They went up on rent every year except one. Moving into my own house was a way better thing.

  Lived here for a few months now and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Had my AC break and they were on it. Shout out to Darryl for hooking me up with AC! Also Olivia is killing it!

  Touring and moving in here was a great experience. Olivia toured the unit with me and helped me throughout the process. And she was always available to answer any questions I had. Once I moved in, I had a problem with my shower head leaking, but it was quickly resolved by Darryl who did a great job. Overall I’ve been very impressive with the people at Legend of Virginia Center.
