They advertise under new management, the new management is terrible. The building has cockroaches inside the living area when we moved in there were about 15 cockroaches in the empty kitchen. There were nails, screws, and 3 in pins laced throughout the carpets. The closets did not have doors installed properly or at all. The guest bathroom toilet was broken. Management did not fix the trash shoot and so trash is out in the halls and piled up inside the trash shoot rooms. The ac does not work while it was on in the summer set to high it never went below 84 in the apartment. The apartment smells terrible a mix of trash, throw up, and mold. We did not perform a mold test, however, the mildew smell and watermarks indicate there is a high likelihood of mold. The management know the issues and do not try to fix the problems. All these problems have persisted since the summer and it’s now January. Will contact the health inspector as this place should be closed until problem are fixed.

Maintenance service poor, no Gym, elevator some times works. No hot water, rats everywhere.
This apartment is absolutely terrible and dangerous. There have already been several unknown men ringing my doorbell, and they removed my security camera. The lease office has never installed any security cameras in the hallway. I’m paying almost $1,700 a month for a studio, and for over a month and a half, I have had no hot water for showers. I have reported this issue to the lease office many times, but no one has taken action to resolve it.
I previously lived in a 1 bed / 1 bath unit in the same complex, where I was constantly dealing with cockroaches and mice. I thought moving to a new unit would finally solve those problems. However, I then discovered that the kitchen walls in my current unit are unfinished. The cockroaches and mice can come. When I raised this concern, the lease office told me this was “completely normal,” which is absolutely unacceptable.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I explicitly informed the lease office that I would pursue legal action and file complaints with the appropriate authorities if this issue continued, yet nothing has been done. (definitely will do that. Can't stand it anymore). The most unbearable part is that I still don't have hot water to shower. How it is reasonable? They are violating Virginia tenant and landlord laws, which has seriously affected my quality of life. If it were not for the location, I would have moved out of this poorly managed, problem-filled apartment long ago.
