A True Home, Thanks to an Incredible Team After five wonderful years at Fairfax Square Apartments, it is with a heavy heart that I write this review as I prepare to relocate for work. From day one, this community has been more than just an apartment. It has truly felt like home, and that is entirely because of the amazing staff under Matt’s leadership. Matt and his leasing and maintenance team have always gone above and beyond to make sure every concern, big or small, was handled promptly, professionally, and with such a positive attitude. Their commitment to keeping the community running smoothly and making residents feel cared for is something rare and special. You can really tell they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about the people who live here. Fairfax Square is not just a place to live. It is a place where you feel supported, respected, and part of a community. Leaving is bittersweet, but I am so grateful for the years of comfort, kindness, and stability this team has given us. We are leaving with full hearts and nothing but gratitude. Wishing Matt, the entire staff, and all the wonderful neighbors continued success and happiness. Fairfax Square will always hold a special place in our hearts. 💛

The main manager is extremely rude, and there are so many hidden fees in the lease. Mouse infestations are another major problem here! Also, be aware that if you need to cancel your lease early, they make you pay two full months’ rent as the only option — no subleasing, no flexibility or understanding of personal situations. When we first signed, they verbally told us we only needed to give a two-month notice if we decided to leave early, and they made it sound like we would get back the $400 deposit we paid secure the lease. That turned out to be completely untrue. The main manager literally said why do you think we tricked you , without me saying anything! I don’t think this was his first time having this conversations. disappointing experience overall. Oh and another lie, the Clubhouse and Business Center is all for decor ! You can’t play or use the printer! Not working !

I haven’t moved in yet but I went on a guided tour with Ny’Lena and looked at 3 different apartments inside the community. This by far was the most informative, transparent, and helpful tour I’ve gone through compared to the other ones throughout my apartment hunting journey. The tour started with the clubhouse which was very clean and looked nice. We then took a look at the apartment I was interested in. It was spacious and had a great layout. The appliances were all in excellent condition and the apartment didn’t show visible signs of wear or aging. I then took a look at 2 other apartments that were available and they looked just as good. At the end of the tour, Ny’Lena showed me all the options I had and we discussed the ones that fit my needs. I ended up completing and submitting my application two days later and I was approved within a few hours. Ny’Lena was super nice and responsive and she helped me throughout the whole process. I had all my reasonable questions answered and I wasn’t pushed to go for a more expensive option or a sooner move in date at all which I really appreciate. The only issue I’ve seen so far is that the fees required by move in are on the more expensive side compared to the other properties I saw.

My family had to deal with rats, roaches, and constant noise from loud, inconsiderate neighbors while living here. This place is absolutely atrocious, nothing ever gets resolved in a timely manner, and the foundation itself sounds like it’s falling apart. The management has the audacity to charge outrageous prices for what is essentially a run-down, poorly maintained apartment. Truly horrifying living conditions. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews here. I understand noise can travel in an apartment complex but that’s just how they all are. Although, I will say the people who were throwing loud ridiculous parties all days of the week have gone quiet so that’s been nice. I have lived here for 2 years now and I like this place, the view and nature are awesome, the parking isn’t too bad, it can get iffy in summer sometimes but I never have trouble finding a spot, maintenance is quick and they’re super nice people, and the style of the apartment is nice. My only real issue would be the fact the bathroom doesn’t have a fan, I feel like it’s a recipe for mold and I’ve never seen a bathroom without a fan, I hate it. Otherwise, this place is great and I like it here!
