    I have been living in USA for over a decade and by far, this place has been the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! The neighbors are nice and polite, management was quick, effiecient, and efrective. The ameneties are top notch, and the apartment itself is located conveniently. Many people complained about being charged an extra fee after moving out. I am thankful this situation has not occured to me. I even got over $300 back from my deposit. The neighborhood is well maintained and beautiful. There's a car wash, a small playgrounf for children, and my daughter's personal favorite-an accomodating pool. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here, and am extremely sad I will be moving out. I will miss my evening walks, chit- chat with friendly neighbors and the amazing views of different seasons from the sun room. The neighborhood, the people, and the management have by far, been the best I have seen. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone searching for an affordable-yet amazing- place to stay. It's been an amazing two years, and thank you to everyone who has kept this place loved and maintained ❤️

    Just needed to give a much deserved shout out to the maintenance crew . Over Easter weekend, our washer unexpectedly broke and leaked into the flooring. As a family with little ones, this was an immediate concern, as I have heard horror stories about tenants from other properties who have had to wait forever to have their washer repaired. We placed the maintenance order and within hours someone arrived to take a look and dry / clean up the flooring to prevent mold. We were pleasantly surprised as it was Easter weekend & late in the evening. They said they would be able to fix the machine after the weekend Monday , they arrived and promptly fixed the washer. The maintenance worker even checked and made sure that the carpeting was taken care of. Since I have been here we’ve had to put in maintenance requests multiple times- the maintenance staff have always been polite , professional , knowledgeable and quick to follow through with a solution. One of the best features living here 👏

    We lived at The Elms at Oakton for several years and only ever had positive experiences. We never had insects or pests, didn't have any noise or safety issues, and anytime something stopped working (such as our shower drain clogging), a service worker was there to fix it immediately. The Elms also has fun events for residents to celebrate holidays, which is a nice bonus. It took me a while to write this review, but we moved out last year and the process was surprisingly smooth. We were worried about ending our lease, the security deposit, and all the other concerns that come up when moving. The employees were so kind and helped us find the best option for ending our lease, and we never felt taken advantage of. If we ever need to move back into an apartment, we'd choose the Elms without a thought.

    SPIDERS. Many many many of them. Unfortunately I had to break my lease (and pay for it) after only four months because the spider situation was out of control. I had pest control come multiple times and it made no difference. It was an infestation but the office did not like when I used that term. Big spiders, slow spiders, fast spiders, translucent spiders, fuzzy black spiders, and thousands of little tiny baby spiders. I sadly killed at LEAST five a DAY. EVERY DAY. My traps (and I set dozens) were covered, looked like I pressed them on lint. Oh and along with the spiders came centipedes, ants, and silverfish galore. I barely unpacked in this haunted house and now I'm pretty much traumatized for life. Worst living experience ever. And I'm from New York, I've lived in some interesting places and never had a pest situation this bad.

    I am a new tenant, but so far everything is great. George in the front office made the viewing and leasing process so simple. He was informative, patient, and you could tell really knew what he was doing. He encouraged me to ask questions and look for more information in places I had not even thought of before leasing. He and Lisa responded quickly to all my questions, and George really worked with me to get in a unit that I was comfortable with, given that I have a toddler. Highly recommend!
