  DO NOT MOVE HERE! This is by far the WORST place I’ve lived ever. I almost died living here, like needed emergency medical treatment! Was actually HOSPITALIZED because of negligence of this property and even after my hospital stay, it took almost 3 months for a follow up. I had to contact legal authorities, the regional director and sister properties for help! In addition, the ventilation in the bathroom is so poor that I got mold in my shower weekly! Multiple water leaks as well! Your packages get stolen, nothing is done. The pool was SHREK GREEN all summer. Fees continue to increase with no extra things provided. The trash compactor area is always disgusting, smelly and running over. I’ve been tossed around many times about numerous unfinished maintenance requests, resulting in damage to my personal items. Emergency maintenance is always super delayed! Peyton Branch, the leasing manager is absolutely clueless to what happens, she’s never in office, delayed in everything she does and never follows up with her team. She doesn’t care about the safety of her residents or the property at all. Not to mention, when you move out, there a mandatory $425 fee just for cleaning whether your place was spotless or not! Just make sure you read all the fine print and don’t get trapped like I was!!

  Definitely deserve 5 stars! The ladies in the office are super helpful & sweet! Maintenance is always on top of requests! Such a quiet and nice neighborhood.

  Avemore is the best! We moved in five years ago as a place to live while we were looking around town. We concluded that nothing in Charlottesville could compare with the ideal location, generous room size, beautifully landscaped grounds, and quality of the community and amenities. Avemore is very well-managed, safe, quiet, and the maintenance services are exceptionally responsive and professional.
