- JLJeremy LegaspiMar 30, 20261.0I would not recommend Ryan Homes at The Ellipse based on my experience. From the start, the sales rep made me feel like an afterthought. I was told my earnest money was “late” a month after I had already sent it on time and received a confirmation. Meetings were poorly handled. The sales rep scheduled a design meeting, didn’t show up, and only informed me after I had already arrived. That same meeting was critical, and I was later told it was “too late” to make selections because it had been missed. Communication was consistently lacking. The sales rep did not attend the pre-construction meeting (held just three days before breaking ground). At that meeting, I was informed—for the first time—that a large electrical transformer (approximately 5.5 ft tall × 7 ft wide × 5.5 ft deep) would be placed about 13 feet from my window. It was not shown on the original plans. After ongoing issues, missed meetings, and lack of responsiveness (including being unavailable the day construction started), I chose not to move forward. Overall, I felt ignored, misled, and disrespected. I would strongly caution others before working with this sales team.

Every person along the process was amazing. I will like to thank these amazing people by names starting with Kathryn Piper who was our very first contact and she was excellent in explaining to us what we needed to know as first time home buyers and setting us up with our loan officer Cathy Putnum and our builder Mike Zeleska. These people were all wonderful in their roles and we can't thank them enough. For the people we did not mention by names and was part of our home buying process, please know that, you are also greatly appreciated.
