  Useless management, useless maintenance, not even cheap anymore. It used to be pretty ok but then the new management took over

  Apartment is fine but management is fully unwilling to do anything about any issues you have and any emails or calls go unanswered. Do not recommend.

  This apartment complex is okay. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with the leasing office at the end of my time there.This does not take away from Jessica, Pia, Joy, Hannah, Mel, Olivia, Janice and the entire team being helpful, professional and answering all questions a resident may have. They are a great bunch in the office, but remember they will do what is best for their business and not for the tenant (customer). Read the contract closely and make sure the arrangements work for you. If not, you will be in a bad spot because what you sign in the lease agreement is what you get. If there is anyway to add a clause in the contract per the tenant’s request it would make it 100% better. Many individuals are coming and leaving from the area frequently whether it be for school or work. The apartments are old and okay. No sound proofing due to paper walls, but the recently added Yale padlock on the doors and integrated thermostat is a huge plus due to the poor insulation of the old building. Expect a high electric bill in the summer. The amenities are fine, but they also just built the brand new fitness center which is fantastic. This is a nicely located area but not completely in the heavier Blacksburg traffic. The rent is too high but it is high for the location reason. Right on the huckleberry trail is another huge plus. Overall do not put your apartment for re-rental and let them look for a new tenant for you, waste of money and time. Look for tenants yourself, they do not care if they get a new tenant since you still have to pay for the apartment once vacated. Sleazy rule. Note before considering since this maximizes their profits. Remember it would be to their benefit to rent unoccupied apartments first then offer a re-rental as last priority. Their excuse is to be unbiased but they do not mention any re-rentals to people looking for an apartment unless specifically requested. Again they will do what is best for their business and not for you. It’s an apartment complex and the pandemic has not helped their cash flow either which means they are finding new ways in the corporate office next door to keep a healthy back page. Good luck

  Conveniently located and has some nice amenities, and that's why I don't give it just one star The maintenance staff is nice, but the people who work in the office are rude, unprofessional, and incompetent.
