Jeri was very helpful! My dishwasher wasn’t working and he replaced the broken part, and stayed to make sure the appliance was completely functional and was very nice.

My door broke here at the Citizen and within 10 minutes of filing the work order there was a man named Jerry in apartment and fixing the door! He was super nice and it happened so quick I couldn’t believe it. Highly recommend

I lived at The Citizen from May 2024 through January 2026. Unfortunately, my experience consistently fell short of what was advertised as a “luxury” living environment. During my time there, I experienced ongoing issues that were never meaningfully resolved. These included a cockroach infestation, elevators that were frequently out of service, a package room that was consistently disorganized, and a parking garage that was often too full to accommodate residents (and somehow, constantly dripping with dirty water). Maintenance interactions were also frustrating; requests were routinely dismissed or addressed with little professionalism. Communication from management was particularly concerning during serious incidents. For example, there was a loud explosion on the property that resulted in a nearly 24-hour power outage in the middle of winter, and on a separate occasion, police surrounded the building to pursue a suspect and told residents to stay in their homes. In both cases, residents received no communication from management. The most troubling issue, however, involved the leasing process. We were not permitted to view our specific unit prior to move-in because it was occupied, so we asked detailed questions -- including about natural light, which was a top priority for us. We were assured there was “excellent natural light.” Upon move-in, it was immediately clear that this was not accurate; the unit was consistently dark regardless of season or time of day. Additionally, we were encouraged by the leasing team to purchase a “security deposit alternative” through Lease Term Solutions for $150, with the understanding that it would cover up to $1,500 in damages at move-out. However, after moving out, we received a bill exceeding $600 and were informed that the program would not cover any charges. We provided emails where our leasing agent directly stated charges would be covered by Lease Term Solutions in writing, however, I was disappointed by the lack of empathy and accountability provided by the leasing team, who dismissed our concerns and continue to require payment. Based on my experience, the quality of the building and the dubious leasing practices did not align with what was represented to us at move-in. Prospective tenants should ask detailed questions in writing and carefully review all lease-related programs before considering signing a lease with this building.

Been living here for a little over a month and I will say, there are no complaints I have about this place. I see a lot of people complain about bird droppings but…what would you like them to do about it? I personally love the crows outside of my balcony! I have had some maintenance requests and each were fixed the same day and in a timely manner, for the size of the building. The three woman in the office are amazing to work with, they are very friendly and answer any questions I may have. I love calling this place my home, it’s gorgeous and the community surrounding it is gorgeous as well. There are plenty of food places and even a grocery store nearby. If you’re thinking about coming to live here, do it! - The Clarksons.
