Living here has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Essential services frequently fail — whether it’s no heat during a snowstorm, no hot water, no AC during the summer, or elevators not working. These are basic necessities, and it’s unacceptable for them to be unreliable.
The office staff is extremely unprofessional, and communication from management is practically nonexistent. Throughout my year-long lease, they have been rude and dismissive. On one occasion, when I went to them with concerns about issues in my apartment, they actually laughed instead of offering help.
Amenities are also misleading. The pool is only open for about three hours in the evenings during the summer, and other advertised amenities are often broken or require additional fees despite being presented as included in rent.
The parking situation is another major issue. Multiple guests of mine were towed by A-1 Towing despite me having paid for parking. When I contacted the office for assistance, I received no response.
I seriously recommend looking elsewhere. If you need to live in this area, The Oliver right next door is a much better option.
No stars! Communication is horrible. Never anyone to speak to for residential needs. Random charges and can never be explained. Every summer the AC goes out. Winter time heat was out for days at a time. Elevators out every week. Building call box has never worked. Don’t move here!
Mold issues are heavy in the Graham building. Black mold can be seen on the vents in the hallway and there's noticeable water damage to the ceilings. Elevators are always breaking down. Guests have to pay for parking and A-1 literally sits in the lot waiting for timers to expire. Cockroaches and mice are worse in some spots -- look for holes or covered up holes landlord special style. Overpriced and nothing luxury about The Southern Towers. They'll keep expecting people to pay more for a 1970s building that's falling apart internally. Just go look elsewhere.

When you pay $3,700 for a three-bedroom apartment, you expect a basic level of care and professionalism — not this.
We’ve had ongoing leaks for almost two weeks, and instead of fixing the problem properly, management repeatedly shuts off the water and heat without notice. Notices are sent after the water has already been shut off, which defeats the entire purpose of communication.
It’s unacceptable to wake up and suddenly be unable to use the bathroom, wash your face, or cook food. These are basic living necessities, not optional services. Even worse, after days of disruption, the issue still isn’t fixed.
This level of disregard for residents is unacceptable, especially given the rent being charged.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this apartment complex, especially with the leasing office staff. Communication has been consistently poor, and the level of professionalism is lacking.
No phone calls are ever answered everything goes straight to voicemail. Messages are left repeatedly with little to no response. Emails are also ignored for long periods of time, and when someone finally does respond, it often feels careless, rushed, or dismissive. The leasing office is frequently listed as “out of office,” yet provides no reliable way for residents to get help when issues arise.
There is a clear lack of follow-through and accountability. For a community that expects residents to pay rent on time and comply with strict policies, it’s frustrating that the management does not hold itself to the same standard.
Overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience. I would strongly caution anyone considering this apartment complex to think twice if communication, responsiveness, and competent management are important to you.
