  One of the priorities of living in an apartment is safety, and that is not being upheld right now. ParkX security is not doing their job. I have now witnessed non-residents sleeping on the staircases in the apartment twice, which is a serious safety concern. Children live here. When the front office reached out to ParkX, there was no response. This is unacceptable

  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! This building is a complete disaster. There is zero proper management, and the conditions are unacceptable for the price we’re paying. The AC doesn’t work, the shower water is constantly cold, and maintenance is always late, rude, and unhelpful when they finally show up. For the amount of rent being charged, the service is low quality and extremely disappointing. The only people who actually do their jobs and show responsibility are Ms. Farida and Mr. Josh they’re the only bright spots in this entire building. Other than that, the place is a mess, the management is careless, and the living conditions are not worth the high cost.

  Joshua Christian at the front desk provides exceptional service—he is polite, calm, and highly professional. Joshua is truly stands out for his professionalism and courtesy. He is noticeably more polite and professional than most staff, and I can confidently say he is among the very few who uphold such a high standard. However, the building maintenance needs improvement. The new elevator area is often dirty, the trash/storage room has a persistent bad odor, and the laundry room is not cleaned regularly. The hallways and staircases above the first floor are also neglected, and there has even been the same trash in the hallway for over a year.

  What I find weird is how management wants the tenants to contact them directly but already did absolutely nothing when they made maintenance request or inquiries about anything in regard to Sherwood. MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE

  I have been a resident at Southern Towers for some time, and this is the first time I have ever experienced such unprofessional and misleading behavior. Leasing agent Makena Shipley at The Sherwood promised me a special offer of one month free (November) if I moved in by October 20. Based on her word, I paid the application fee and a $300 security deposit. Later, I discovered that the lease contract had no mention of the free month, and even the rent amount in the contract ($1,628) was higher than what was publicly listed online ($1,589). When I confronted her, she denied ever making that promise – even though it was the reason I applied in the first place. This is clear misrepresentation and dishonest leasing practice. I strongly caution anyone considering leasing here: get everything in writing before you pay anything. My experience with Makena was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend dealing with her.
