  I’m looking forward to moving in Rose Hill Apartments, my wife & I had the pleasure of working with Charmaine throughout the process. She was very patience, kind, and understanding with us. What a great experience, the office staff was also warm & friendly.

  I had a wonderful experience touring Rose Hill Apartments thanks to Charmaine. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. She took her time walking me through the property, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made the entire process feel welcoming and stress-free. You can truly tell she cares about the residents and takes pride in her work. If you’re considering Rose Hill Apartments, definitely ask for Charmaine — she made my visit a great one!

  I scheduled a 6:00 PM tour through the Rose Hill Apartments website, which allowed and confirmed the appointment. I arrived early at 5:25 PM and was told they do not conduct tours after 5 PM and would not honor the booking. No exception was made, and I was told to return on a day I also work. This showed clear disorganization and disregard for prospective tenants’ time. After this experience, I looked more closely at the surrounding area and local crime statistics. According to FBI-based crime data for Alexandria, property crime rates (including theft and vehicle break-ins) are higher than the national average. This is exactly the type of crime that directly affects residents living in apartment communities. Between management allowing appointments they refuse to honor and the reality of elevated property-crime statistics in the area, I realized I would not feel safe living here or leaving my belongings here. In hindsight, being turned away was positive. Disorganized management combined with safety concerns is not something I’m willing to overlook, and I’m grateful I didn’t move forward with this property. “Systems are perfectly designed to get the results they get.” Being turned away from a confirmed appointment speaks volumes about how this property is managed, and I’m thankful I learned that before signing a lease. **Edit in response to managements comment** There are no words that can adequately convey the level of disinterest I now have in your property, your staff, and your services. I have no intention of providing a second opportunity to demonstrate how my time would once again be misused. To add context, nearby competing properties were able to do what your team did not. Despite it being late in the day and tours no longer being available, their staff still made the effort to sit with me, provide pamphlets and documentation, review monthly specials, and actively engage me in a conversation about their communities. That level of professionalism and initiative stood in stark contrast to my experience with your team. Your staff had the availability to do the same and chose not to. The absence of even minimal effort to engage, educate, or attempt to retain my interest reflects poorly on your team’s sales competency and overall customer service standards. As a result, I will not be considering your property further.

  I wanted to give a shout out and thank Charmaine as well as Charnee for helping facilitate a smooth application to move in process. Today I moved into my new apartment and I am really looking forward to settling into my new neighborhood. Charmaine was very professional and was willing to answer any questions I had. I could tell that she is very supportive of the residents here. Additionally, Charnee was very helpful during guiding me with the application process and offered me a wonderful tour of the apartments. Both of them were very friendly and caring.

  I can hear my neighbors below me sneeze. I can hear them talking in their living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. I can hear the neighbors below me walk around their apartment and the vibrations from their steps shake my apartment walls. Neighbors constantly have their TV so loud that I can't even hear what I'm listening to without turning it up so loud that I'd suffer from hearing damage. Noise is an every day, constant issue. They renovate an apartment and the work is so lousy that you end up just hearing more and more noise. I honestly feel like I'm living in a prison cell. If I'm watching a show and 30 seconds of "loud music" plays then I just signed myself up to hear my neighbors slam their kitchen cabinets over and over. Neighbors get into door slamming competitions near daily. I'm sure the neighbors below me can hear noise from me like when I walk around or just everyday noises, but they choose to retaliate by being significantly louder on purpose. Living here is depressing. Maintenance men do fast work but it's low quality every time.
