  My Husband and I recently moved into our apartment here at 800 Carlyle & so far it has been an excellent experience! Jonathan and Latifah have made it such a smooth process and both have gone above and beyond to ensure a stress-free move in. Our apartment was very clean when we first arrived and all of the common areas seem to be well maintained. We look forward to our time here and thank them for their wonderful hospitality!

  Update: really sick of this place and the negligence of management. I had five packages delivered on October 10th. One package was delivered at the concierge desk and I was provided a photo from the delivery company. Couldn’t find it, asked the concierge and office if they saw it, both said no. It got so bad I had to file a police report to try and provide it to the insurance company. Come to find out the concierge now remembers putting it in a locker yet no code was surprisingly sent. Police came to view footage and indeed saw the convertible place it in a locker; however, they very clearly saw that I never took it out…why? Because I received NO code. In the span of a month Imani has worked hard to get Amazon to open the lockers however they are now claiming there are no packages in there. This means that the last person to have hands on my package was the concierge. I find it funny that he lied initially about having the package then remembers putting it in storage and yet no code was provided and now the package is just gone? How are they unable or why are they unable to tell me who took the package out? Pure Negligence from failed training on behalf of a third party. The concierge should be provided adequate training and or better yet I do not believe a third party should be responsible for signing or handling packages. Who took my package? The worse part is it’s absolute crickets from the office. I’m no longer held to the lease after this month and even then your third party lacked appropriate training which has directly contributed to a financial loss. The lack of care and inadequate resolution is disgusting. This is an extremely unsafe and gross complex. AVOID if you are a single female This office provides incentives for good reviews, so take them with a grain of salt. Kettler has hundreds of reviews and only 2 stars. Lets dive in with the most egregious issues here at the complex. •We have had an attempted kidnapping, a hostage situation, an alleged bust of a drug/gun/prostitution ring, continuous vehicle break ins and more. This past week, an armed robbery occurred that involved an ak-47. Management’s response to this was to tell residents they were fortunate crime at the property was not pervasive in comparison to other places in Alexandria. •Homeless are frequent. ONE email was sent to residents regarding a woman found squatting in an unsecured storage closet. Management stated they “investigated” and believed the woman was let in by residents. This leads one to believe they reviewed some sort of video footage which would mean they have working cameras and are therefore ignoring the INSANE amount of package theft. Love their attempt to shift culpability/negligence. Management claimed to have hired temporary security after the incident, yet not a single resident could find said security. •They do not tell you when you sign a lease they have Airbnbs in the building. They call it corporate housing. They think we are dumb and unable to go onto Airbnb and determine the company they have an agreement with is called Pure Voyage. Airbnb guests do not undergo the background checks required of residents and have caused issues such as excessive partying, property damage, prostitution, dog messes and more. Airbnb reviews note black mold and broken/missing fire alarms and smoke detectors in apartments. The fire alarms go off frequently and as a resident you are required to have insurance and release Kettler from liability. Remember that. Good luck using the pool with all the Airbnb guests. Previous property manager was too busy embezzling money and the current one just stands around saying “this is the first im hearing about”. Perhaps if she stopped talking loudly about residents and mistreating her employees, she could take an effective management course. The Senior Regional Manager should join her in that.
