  Lived here > 4 years. Our office manager and the staff have made this place a lovely place to live. They address issues promptly, create community events, and are simply lovely.

  You can’t smoke outside? But there’s no posted signage to that effect? And the area is WIDE OPEN to anyone passing by, including the general public??? Not a gated community and no private property signs. Not sure how you can legally enforce that. Anyone could have a seat. Legally. Including folks from the bar right across the street.

  I moved here on Dec 5th and have had nothing but the most professional experience ever. Latifah, Imani and Djene have went over and above and I thank them very much. Everything they said they would do they did and always with a smile . If you are looking in the area give them a call the building is always very nice and clean and the residents have been very nice and polite. I’m very happy I made this choice I look for a while and came right back here . You can walk to wegmans, eating places , the movies and so much more.

  If you live around here, I don't have to tell you that things are ridiculously expensive. Sure, you pay for the convenience of living less than a mile away from the yellow line and having a Wegman's and whole foods within a 10 min walk, but, we can all agree that things are crazy right now. As high as rent and parking costs are in this area, 800 Carlyle has always been reasonable. The staff in the office are helpful and kind; they always have the best snacks and candy, and the events are always fun. We had a Bingo! event recently and the top prize was an Air Fryer. I didn't win it (I got a carpet cleaning prize), but I'll be ready for next time! I've never lived anywhere that does stuff like that, and it really feels great to not feel like they only care about my ability to pay my rent. I mean, the property manager was giving out Turkey dinners to needy families last month for Thanksgiving, and if that's not above and beyond, I don't know what is! If you're moving to the area, come to this place; it's the one of the best Alexandria has to offer.

  I moved here a couple of weeks ago, and never got around to leaving a review cuz life is always lifing! 😂 First, the neighborhood is very walkable; there's a CVS right across the street from the train station, a shopping center with things like Cold Stone, an AMC movie theater, Wegman's, Whole Foods, Nando's, and all kinds of fun stuff all within 15 minutes walking distance. Limerick Field is right behind the building and there's a cidery called Lost Boy Cafe that's pretty cool. I'm happy to say that my delay in leaving a review only confirmed that moving to 800 Carlyle was a great decision! Latifah and Imani are so nice and bubbly, you just find yourself smiling during your whole visit. They all just made the whole process smooth and stress free. I love it here, and can't wait to explore more.
